I have been to Oak many times. Never had issues. Tonight stood out the most. Kasandra was our waitress and she was amazing. She tended to any issues we had and any questions with ease. Constantly checked on us and never rushed us. She was overall amazing.

About the restaurant: Rich, warm wood paneling creates a proper club-style environment for this outpost of the eponymous Charleston establishment. Michael Perez will assume executive chef responsibilities while continuing the same role at nearby sister restaurant Colletta.Food & Drinks: Located in Alpharetta's Avalon development, Oak Steakhouse emphasizes seasonal produce and locally grown raw materials, and for its steaks relies on Prime certified Angus beef. Buttermilk fried chicken is the lone poultry entry on the menu, while the salmon is wild caught from Alaska. Embellish a steak with Hudson Valley foie gras, which also may be enjoyed as an appetizer, except we find the several adornments overload. The place makes its own steak sauce, but with meat that offers this kind of rich, beefy flavor, why mess it up? Alternatives include lamb, a pork chop, pasta Bolognese (but no chicken livers in the sauce), grilled tuna and a plate of local produce. Understandably, Oak reaches back to Carolina sources for Anson Mills' grits and Carolina Gold rice. For dessert, try the artisan cheeses --- Sweet Grass Dairy and Many Fold Farm are among them --- or visit the chocolate temptations or the sticky toffee pudding. The wine list emphasizes red wines as one might expect, ranging from France to California.
