Our experience here was made outstanding by our server, Kristin. From start to finish, she was hospitable and kind, while guiding us on a wonderful experience. . Make sure to request her when enjoying the amazing drinks and food Ruth Chris has to offer.

On Saturday, March 9th, we went to celebrate my birthday with friends, expecting a wonderful experience and delicious food. The food was good, not great, and the experience just deteriorated over the evening. Our server was fantastic and not the problem. We did wait a long time for our drinks when we first sat down but they eventually came out.The real problem began when another server walked right behind my husband’s chair and accidentally dropped his tray of dirty plates with leftover food and sauces on my husband’s back, including a brown sauce, shredded cheese with salad dressing and other leftover food. He was very apologetic and truly felt bad. Again, he was not the problem. The problem was the way the manager, Jeremy Erdman, reacted to the situation. He did not initially come out so we had to ask for someone to come out and see how they wanted to handle the incident. When he did come out, he told me they would pay for the dry cleaning in a pretty disinterested way and he was not apologetic. We all looked at each other and were really surprised at his reaction. Not the hospitality we were expecting. My husband was wearing a Peter Millar shirt and a brand new Banana Republic jacket with a suede collar that had food all over it.Near the end of the evening, I had to ask for Jeremy to come back out so I could get his business card with his email address to send him the dry cleaning receipt. He was not proactive in ensuring that we would be satisfied with the resolution. Again, not apologetic or personable in any way.I certainly wasn’t expecting anything for free, but, being that it was my birthday celebration, I thought the manager of this type of restaurant would at least offer us a free dessert. He offered us nothing. We left and were beyond disappointed with the experience. We will not go back as there are many restaurants with great food we could go to and feel welcome. When I emailed him the receipt for our dry cleaning, he sent me the reimbursement electronically with no email to let me know he had taken care of it. It felt like he just wanted to get rid of me.I spent years working in hospitality, training sales teams on POS software for restaurants, and have been to hundreds of restaurants around the country. I’ve seen what great looks like and this wasn’t it.This was certainly a pretty bad experience and I can’t recommend this restaurant.

There is no better place in Alpharetta to host a business event. The private rooms are truly private. They have fantastic banquet servers, and the food is top-notch. I have hosted a number of events for dinner and lunch and have always had a great experience. The clients love it as well.

Booked a table here for Easter and had a great meal. The filet and fish we ordered were cooked perfectly and the service from Pete was outstanding.

My husband and I truly enjoy Ruth's Chris. We had the pleasure of being served by Deborah and she was amazing and always anticipating our needs. Our food was prepared to perfection. The manager Greg was very kind as well. Looking forward to our next date night at Ruth's Chris. Dawn M

Do not go here expecting the same Ruth Chris service and meal you may have experienced at other locations! We went off hours, around 5:00 pm, almost empty, service was ridiculously slow, nobody was there. There was as tray of dirty dishes that sat by our table the entire time, disgusting! Waiter stations were dirty. They don’t have a wine list, they hand you a dirty IPAD. Wines are way overpriced and no really good choices. Glasses and dishes at our table were dirty.Did I mention service sucked.Lots of people standing around doing nothing. Food just okay, not spectacular. Asked for regular butter, server never brought it. There was a sign on the table seeking Easter reservations, it was Easter!Service sucks.Men’s room was gross, piss all over the floor.Don’t go here!

We went the night before Easter and it seemed like they staffed on the lean side. One side dish came out at the end of the meal and the server forgot to ask if we wanted coffee with dessert. Another server kept dropping things on the ground (like silverware) near the server cart in the room - quite loud. But the food was really great as usual. We have been going here for years for important family events and it was a little off service wise.

The Prisoner wine dinner was exceptional, and the staff did a tremendous job serving the meal and pacing the courses so that it didn't feel rushed or slow. Our only criticism would be to suggest that onion rings were not the best choice to accompany the main course given the importance of serving them while they are fresh from the fryer. While flavorful, they were also soft, with the batter having lost its crunchy texture. We usually love the onion rings at Ruth's Chris, but these weren't up to your usual standards. I think having to prepare them in advance and let them sit for several minutes so that all the guests were served at the same time didn't work. We understand that the menu wasn't determined by the chef at the Alpharetta RC.

I had never been to the great Ruth Chris. I heard about it all of my adult years and always wanted to go. It took a while for me to make it, but I knew that once I did, I would get to experience one of the restaurants that set the standard for steak restaurants. I expected great ambience with nice lighting and enjoyable music. I expected excellent service, but above all, I expected my Steak to be one of the best that I've ever had. Sadly, none of my expectations were met. While Our server was nice and friendly, the service was subpar at best. The food was mediocre, and my steak was cooked to the correct temperature in the center but most of the steak was way overcooked. The worst part of all was the ambience. Or should I say the lack of ambience. I literally felt like I was eating in the lobby of a mid scale, hotel, or in a cafeteria . We went in the evening. They sat us in a room that looked like it was meant for private parties. The lights were bright, and the music sounded like someone just chose some random radio station. It was so boring! One of my favorite parts of going to nice restaurants is ambience, and the experience. This was beyond a letdown in this department . One of the first things that tipped me off that this was not going to be the experience that I expected was when we walked in they asked me to sit in some large chairs. I noticed that one of the chairs was dirty on the side, and there were leftover mint wrappings on the coffee table in front of the chairs. When I went to the bathroom , I thought this fancy restaurant could take a tip or two from Chick-fil-A. The restriom was not filthy, but you could tell it hadn't been serviced in a while. My husband has been to other Ruth Chris locations and said his experience wasn't like mine. I left feeling sad to have trusted Ruth Chris, with an experience that I don't get that often. I had a chance to go to a nice restaurant and it didn't matter where. The choice was up to me! Sadly I chose wrong.

Last visit was definitely a 5 for everything. This visit started with a poorly made drink and steaks that were good but a 4 because my steak had a lot of fat. Sides and dessert were good.

Looking for a nice dinner out? If so, must go to Ruth Chris. Hubby and I enjoyed our steak, potatoes, salad, bread and drinks. Service was excellent, food was phenomenal and it’s a lovely atmosphere. Something important to know is that if your payment method doesn’t have a chip, they won’t accept it. (Gift cards as an example) Overall great experience!
