We were loyal State Farm customers for years, carrying both auto and homeowners insurance with Trevor Nollner’s office. Unfortunately, our experience with Trevor and State Farm during a recent claim has been nothing short of a nightmare.
I was in a hydroplaning accident in May 2024 and months later received a letter from a third-party claims company stating I owed $1,800 for guardrail damage. This came as a shock, as there was no visible damage at the scene, and I gathered clear evidence to dispute this—including photos from the accident, a written statement from the responding officer stating there was no damage, and proof the guardrail was never replaced.
When I called Trevor after receiving the letter, he assured me no claim had been filed, told me to take no action, and said he had our back if it ever escalated. While in reality, a claim WAS filed in January 2025 and paid out without our knowledge or input. We only discovered this when our rates increased significantly at renewal.
We spent over a month going back and forth with State Farm claims department before they finally admitted the claim was handled without notifying us—which they acknowledged was not okay. Their explanation? They said they “just paid it because it would have cost them too much to fight it.” So after paying thousands to State Farm over the years for insurance, they paid for something I didn’t do, raised my rates, didn't alert us about the claim, and left me essentially footing the bill through increased premiums.
My last conversation with Trevor was in June, where he admitted he was unaware of the claim being filed, admitted this is not how it should have been handled, stated he would make it right, had our backs, etc. Everything we wanted to hear right? He promised to look into it, but we never heard from him again despite numerous follow ups. He became completely unresponsive, and I only reached someone in his office once we canceled our policies.
This entire experience caused emotional and financial stress and completely broke the trust we had in our agent and State Farm. If you’re considering working with Trevor Nollner, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. State Farm is only on your side until it actually matters.

I called and spoke with a Ms. Bishop, as I was having problems with my previous insurance (progressive), and within less than 30 minutes she had entirely resolved my problem AND gotten me a lower rate than I had before.
