Was renting motorcycle trailer on Saturday. Overall is a good experience. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Trailer was in good condition, but I lubricated the hand tighten nut myself- wish this is something they could do before pickup.
The only issue - I really wish that you will be able to provide the trailer lock with rental. So if you return the trailer after the office close - you can simply put the lock on and drop the key to lock box.
Keeping the trailer for the night without a need just to wait for office to open is ridiculous!

I booked a one way by accident and the manager Owen accomodated me by giving the truck a way. I also have bad knees and can't lift my self up into the truck. They bought out a step ladder to assist. Thank you Owen and the team for helping me with the rental.

I want to share my recent experience with U-Haul at the location on 2840 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30022. I made a reservation for a self-pickup at 6:30 am this morning, only to find my reserved truck behind a gate upon arrival. The frustration began when I returned around 8 am to find the front desk attendant preoccupied with texting someone, displaying a lack of professionalism.
It took approximately 20 minutes to pick up my truck, during which the attendant's demeanor was far from accommodating. Maneuvering the 26" truck in the limited space provided due to the storage service was challenging, exacerbating the situation. Despite waiting at the back gate as instructed, it remained closed, forcing me to return to the main gate. The ensuing interaction with the attendant, marked by yelling and blame-shifting, left much to be desired in terms of customer service.
However, the truck itself was in good condition—clean and relatively new—allowing me to complete my task efficiently. Upon returning the vehicle as directed, I ensured it was spotless and left no belongings behind.
To my dismay, I received a call later from a male representative from the U-Haul location, inquiring about the key's whereabouts. When I informed him that I had returned it to the front desk lady, he abruptly ended the call. To add insult to injury, upon reviewing my receipt, I discovered an unexpected $25 charge.
In summary, I advise potential customers to steer clear of this particular U-Haul location. The front desk staff's rudeness coupled with the possibility of unexpected charges makes for an unsatisfactory experience overall.

Poor service received.
1st van would not start. They acted as if the customer is a bother to them. Was told I'd be charged twice on my card if canceled. No one showed me how to operate the van and thus I had a very difficult experience and time even trying to get gas back
I was also over charged for milage not used

Don't trust this place.they speeder is wrong .make sure you take a picture before you leave .and make sure you take a picture before you give them the key back .they will over charge you .this place need to be shut down.the white lady there is the leader and she no them uhaul is regg up.they pocket the money.

I was told the coverage was $15 when I agreed, then was charged $45. They didn't even give me any of the documentation until hours after I picked up the truck. They 'estimated' the fee would be $90 based on the mileage and I didn't travel any less than I disclosed, but they charged an additional $163 after the fact. Not upfront about fees.

This location can provide training to management to educate them on how to abstain from racial ambiguity and microaggression. I was falsely accused and verbally acoustic of switching drivers and not paying the surcharge. Despite their being under video surveillance that would exonerate them from such accusations, the manager Cindy still proceeded to call me with these accusations. I hope no one else has this negative degradation experience and service.

About once a month I have to rent a U-Haul for my business. I must say that this U-Haul was by far the best location I have ever rented from. From the person at the counter to the paperwork process everything was smooth and pleasant.

The customer service at this location is clearly not a priority. Very disorganized and very rude. They didn't open on time, I had 2 different people checking me in, while they also had someone on hold and traded keys to the shop. Took 3x longer than it should have. Just chaos and no consideration for a speedy check-in. One of the doors was locked and they kept trying to use it and finally unlocked it 20 minutes after opening hours. They didn't know where trucks were and walked me to the back of the lot, to eventually find the truck in the front parking lot. They took a good 25 minutes to get me checked in and to a truck, then they called me 15 minutes after my 2 hour window ended to tell me I was late. Yeah I'm late because YOU took 25 minutes checking me in. I was 3 minutes away and the young employee (Jace) was extremely rude about it. Told me he was "doing me a favor" by not charging me extra. When I asked to speak with a manager, he told me she was out of town but that "she would be just as rude to me as he was"! That makes sense, it's their approach from the top. This place is a mess and clearly lacking any professional management. The truck was fine and there was another employee there who seemed polite and genuinely concerned about my experience (wish I had asked for her name), but Jace could not have cared less. I would NOT recommend visiting this business!!

I came in last minute looking for a truck to move my daughter to Athens over the weekend. Inventory was VERY low everywhere, and Cindy stayed - after she was scheduled to end her shift and go home - to help me get everything I needed lined up. The entire staff was professional and courteous, and took their time to provide excellent service to everyone that came in. Cindy especially made a stressful situation much easier. Thank you!
