Absolutely horrible service! I booked via Crown Relocations from the UAE who contracted with Universal Relocations for the USA end of the shipment. Crown Relocations service was AMAZING. However, once it reached the USA, the service with Universal Relocations was HORRENDOUS! They again contracted out the services. 1. I was not notified in advance of when my shipment would arrive at my home and instead was called the day of saying I needed to make arrangements to be home immediately, 2. They were 3 hours late from the time we agreed, 3. The refused to unpack, 4. They refused to put together the furniture, 5. They refused to remove the debris, 6. After arguing with my original contract with Crown Relocations they agreed to come back to at minimum remove the debris (I had already unpacked the items) and put together the furniture, 6. The day of the second appointment they forgot and. never showed, 7. They did come on time for the third appointment and removed the debris but said they were not allowed to put together Ikea furniture without approval, 8. They scheduled for a third day to come back after receiving the approval to put together the Ikea furniture and again never showed up and said they forgot about the appointment!

Universal managed by international relocation very smoothly, and transparently.
Richard on the overseas side helped coordinate and manage the packing and pickup, efficiently and transparently. The packing crew was very careful, meticulous and efficient. I was frequently updated about the shipment. Shipment arrived in good time. Commendation to Mr Palani at Universal for managing the administrative processes. The delivery was well coordinated. Akshaya at Universal kept me updated, and helped with rescheduling the delivery for a more convenient time.
The delivery crew was on time, unpacked the items, and hauled away the packing materials.
Overall, a very seamless experience

We recently relocated from the US to Bangalore. Universal did an excellent job in our relocation. The end to end process is well orchestrated, starting from the initial quotation, packing and pick up, transit, customs clearance, to the final delivery, unpacking and removing the packaging materials. They helped me in coordinating the customs clearance at Chennai port. The team kept me updated at all times and were very professional and knowledgeable. I would like to give a shoutout to Keerthana, Yukeshwaran, and Akbar for their help with the customs clearance process. Also a shoutout to Akshaya for coordinating the final delivery. Really impressed with the team and highly recommend URS.

I have used universal relocation on multiple occasions for international shifting since 2019. Starting from pickup(which is done by FedEx)till the drop they are very reliable and expert at their work . None of my belongings have been found broken or manhandled and the boxes have reached me in very good shape.
Many of my colleagues have also availed their service and they never had any complaints. I highly recommend them for international shifting (US-IN, in particular).

It was easy right from start till end, I received package in under 10 weeks.
Even though there is lot of documentation to be submitted, I guess its more for compliance than convenience, this is my second time I made use of their services.
