It seems like everytime we come in this office there is some issue but this last time we had enough and we won't be back. I scheduled appts for my husband, our 7 yr old and myself and gave new insurance info. I asked during the call and talked to 2 ppl who said it's out if network however we will match the benefits because our policy is to never turn someone away. Well we showed up 15 mins early for our appts and we waited around at least another 15mins after our appt time before they called my daughter back. It was like no one knew in the back office we were there. Also, no one called to verify our benefits until AFTER we arrived to then only to make my husband call bc they couldn't get the info. If they would have tried the day before we could have called the insurance company from home and gave them what they needed before we arrived.While my husband was calling the insurance I find out we aren't due for appts for another 2 or 3 months, even though I was getting emails saying we were due. My husband decided to just cancel his appt and continue to work on the insurance. My daughter and I continued with our appts. No one seemed to have a clue what was going on in this office, though this is typical. The employees up front always seem like it's an inconvenience you are there or have questions. This time the dr who is normally amazing surprised me when she looked at my husband showed him her computer, which showed her schedule, and said my schedule is so behind as you can see so I can't see you today. Given the fact he already cancelled 40 mins prior; no one told her but also how rude. She made it seem like it was our fault her schedule was behind. So much for not turning someone alway and confidential information... we were there for over 2 hours with some of the rudest people ive ever met. Save your self the nightmare and choose another location!

I highly recommend The Optometrist Dr.Chung she awesome for pediatric eye exams.She really took her time to exam my son. My son ( has bad anxiety) but she made sure to make him feel comfortable during his checkup. Technicians are great and staff are wonderful and helpful choosing your frames.

I arrived at store opening for my appointment. They were having trouble pulling up my insurance policy even after I provided the policy number. The lady did not seem to know what she was doing. Both of my parents (the policyholders) had already been to their office a few weeks prior, but despite looking up my parents in their system they said they couldn't use the insurance information in their profiles for me (even though I'm on the same policy). After 30 minutes, they still did not have my insurance 100% verified, and the optometrist came out to tell me they didn't have time for me. She said she could do my exam very quickly only if I agreed to pay out of pocket if they could not verify my eye insurance by the time my exam was done. I said I was not going to pay out of pocket since I have valid eye insurance and both my parents had just used the same policy at their office. She told me to go home because I was out of time, even though I arrived right at opening and there was only one other patient in the office (who was already being helped). When I asked what I could do or bring next time so this same issue wouldn't happen, they shrugged me off and gave a very curt response. I understand it was probably not fun for any of the employees to try and get my insurance info pulled up, but I felt like I was being more polite to the employees than they were being to me... and I'm the CUSTOMER

I have mixed feelings on leaving this review. The manager and Dr. Chung (believe that the doctors name) are great. However, I had to get two exams before they finally got it right by two different doctors. When I picked up my glasses the first time, I felt like I was inconveniencing the rep and wasn't given the necessary information regarding progressive glasses. Which was much needed since it was my first time wearing them. The rep also lied about information that was given to me.Nonetheless, because of Dr. Chung (?) and the OM, I will return.

Glasses are great but I need a better fitting. I will return to my store to have them adjusted. One side is digging in behind my ear a bit.

Besides the positive review I left in my survey, I wanted to add that the eye glass frame selection was incredible. They have frames separated by shape and then price level. This makes it easier to find the best look and price point for you. I had a hard time deciding which frame I liked best. Great experience!

The staff was very helpful, no pressure sales. Allowed you to look around not hovering over you. But was available if you needed help.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient .The only reason why I gave them 4 stars was because I wish I would have opted to book my appointment with a live person instead of the automated system. I needed to opt to get a reminder. I write down the wrong time ( my fault) and was late to my appointment.

My husband and I went to this place with 2-prescriptions from my eye doctor, one for eyeglasses and the other for contact lenses. When we walked in there were 3-workers and no customers. The worker yelled from the back of the room that they had no licensed eye doctors on staff today so I can only pick up or put in an order, but they cannot process it without a licensed eye doctor present. She said eye doctors are only there on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. She said to pick out what I wanted and she can input everything to get it ready for the licensed eye doctor when they come in. I was there on a Thursday and fully expecting to hear something the next day, Friday.So I picked out some eye glasses and we sat at the table for over 30-minutes while she put in all of the information from my prescription, the glasses I chose, etc. It was hard to hear her at times because the worker at the table next to us was tearing up boxes or paper something. It was very loud and she didn't care one bit that the other worker was trying to ask me questions and put in the order. Anyway the worker put the order in and said someone should be getting back to me the next day which was Friday. Well after a week passed, not one person from that place reached out to get payment and process the order! And I literally watched her put in my phone number so I know it was correct. I drove all the way to Alpharetta, picked out glasses and sat there for over 30 minutes while their worker put all of the details of the order into the system ....all for nothing! This is extremely frustrating! Why are they even open with 3-workers, no customers, and no licensed doctor, for what? To input orders and never follow up on them? Now I have to start the process all over again and find a competent place with licensed eye doctors on staff. I will never go to any Visionworks again!

Even though Dr is not always there.The staff is always so kind and attentive. Always updating me on latest greatest additions.
