The Americus Welcome Center is a friendly place where visitors can learn about the area's history and enjoy neat items in the gift shop. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful, making guests feel at home. Visitors appreciated the helpful trolley ride and enjoyed exploring the beautiful houses, land, and water in Sumpter County. It’s a great spot to get information and have a fun, welcoming experience.

    Stopped in while visiting. Service was fantastic. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. There are a lot of brochures both for statewide sites and local Sumter County sites!

    We were visiting here and had some time to kill before the Wilson Fairchild concert and stopped in here to see what we could do. It was First Friday, and Steve Short was so nice and helped us fill our time with some fun things. Trolley ride was great with Clyde being so nice and helpful.     Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about history of the area. Gift shop has neat stuff and they have information brochures about most of Georgia.
