Hampton Inn Americus offers a comfortable stay with great service, making it a popular choice for visitors. The hotel is older and shows some signs of wear, but it is clean and spacious. Guests appreciate the hospitality of the staff, with notable mentions for two employees who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The front desk staff are friendly, welcoming guests like old friends, and are eager to assist with any needs. While the elevator may be out of service and some fixtures are aging, many guests still enjoy their stay, praising the comfortable rooms and effective air conditioning. The breakfast is generally well-received, with options like grits that guests particularly enjoyed. A warm cookie welcome adds a nice touch to the check-in experience. The hotel is also conveniently located near restaurants and attractions, making it a good base for exploring the area, including nearby Plains, GA, and the National POW Museum. Overall, Hampton Inn Americus combines southern hospitality with a convenient location, making it a solid choice for travelers.
The furniture in the breakfast area is old and broken down. It needs to be replaced. Chair arms dirty. Couch run down. Rooms okay. Was surprised to see how bad the furniture was in the breakfast area. I've stayed in Hamptons all over. This is the worst I every seen.

The room was very clean and the building was in good shape. The receptionists were very nice and the complimentary breakfast was good. The motel next door was questionable.
