I have been to the post office 5 times trying to talk with the post master in Americus ga and every time I go she is always busy and they take my number and name. She has not called me yet. I have not been receiving my mail, packages, certified letters, the post person ( carrier ) saying they have tried to deliver mail, my mail being returned, my mailbox being overstuffed and mailbox left open, and mail being put in wrong mailbox. This needs to stop and she needs to communicate with the public about their concerns.

The phone recording is not working properly!! Very frustrating... Can't even call. This Americus should get on the ball. It's 2025!!

Recently moved to Americus, I'll start with that. This is by far the worst USPS I've ever had or dealt with. I know a few people as well that worked and left there due to how poorly it is run. Management should be fired immediately. And whoever runs the rural route for roads off hwy 49 should also be fired. I received a b.s. notification while tracking my package about not being able to access the delivery location. It's a house with a mailbox, a well maintained yard with a big front porch. It's not hard to access, your driver is just lazy. Delivery dates and tracking isn't an option for you, if it's supposed to be delivered then do it. Fire people and hire people that want to work and do there jobs.

Workers are lazy. Left an attempt to deliver sticker, when they never tried to deliver the package. You call the number on google and you won’t get an answer. You go in for help, and the workers act clueless. DO BETTER!

I had issues with Americus post office about my mail box being left open others letters left in my box that are important for them even left flag up yet week later still in my mailbox not touch,i really had no issues in the past even put the #s in front of my box & note taped inside had our names only into mailbox that was ripped out & now left in front on mailbox talk to lady in charge gave her my email address said she would email me about the situation & talk to the regular gal as tem was doing the same still never heard a word but left feeling attacked as if I was in the wrong. My packages have been stolen ask if could bring to house said they don't do that when they did in past & would call being all down my driveway has my phone# those that have delivered in the past were very nice, they have she said they weren't suppose to do that. So i called main office said someone will contact me from that office & not even a voice mail, what's going on at our post office to not being understanding when one has left numbers of notes for the driver to correct to going inside talk to someone incharge to leaving feeling attack in solving a problem, so I be attempting to contact main office again

Do not use ground advantage. Packages took a month until they were scanned and only went to Florida. They won't even give you a receipt for priority mail if you printed the label the night before. So wake up early if you plan to do business with the post office.

They do a great job and they have friendly and very helpful staff. people need to stop blaming them for what happens to there packages before they arrive at this facility! And remember there the post office not the best funded government operation. This isn't a privately funded operation like other delivery services it's not hard to see they try there hardest to help everyone!

I have had a package that was shipped almost two weeks ago and said 4 day delivery which was supposed to be the next Tuesday of last week. Fast forward another week and it still hasn’t been scanned or updated or delivered. Going on almost two weeks now on a 4 day shipping package. Ups or FedEx always stay true with my packages but I always seem to have problems with usps. definitely not on top of their game and need to step up and do better and have tried reaching out to them and all I get is them telling me it hasn’t reached the next facility that is about an hour and a half away in over a week??? Ridiculous!! I am furious

Within the last month or so, my packages have been delivered to the wrong suite. I receive my notification stating your package(s) have been delivered, but I never receive anything. I have to go from one department to the next to track it down. This shouldn't be, and it's so annoying! Just a couple of weeks ago, I had to go to the post office to track down packages because I received notification that my location could not be accessed, but I've been receiving packages at the same location for almost 3 years. Just yesterday, a bunch of my packages were delivered upstairs! Pay attention to the suite #, and we won't have this problem. A package was delivered Thursday, and I haven't received it yet. After visiting 3 departments, I still don't have. Let's get it together! If I was rating the ladies at the desk, you all would have a 5 star. They are always so nice and awesome!

Apparently they are hiring new people who are trained properly. I've been at my new residence for 4 months now and didn't have any delivery problems with my packages or mail until now.

I am old now and depend on deliveries. My packages are being returned to sender. Saying unable to deliver and it weighed 1 Oz. Went to Post office to inquire about 4 more deliveries. I was told part would be delivered today. Nit!!

They are the slowest post office I’ve ever been to, which is ridiculous considering they are never busy (not a lot of customers in line). I think they see that as an opportunity to take their time, but it’s really poor customer service.
