Ridge Road Bait & Tackle is a popular spot for both locals and campers, known for great meals. The food is really good, actually exceptional, with favorites including hamburgers, hotdogs, shrimp baskets, catfish filets, lemon pepper wings, Philly cheesesteaks, sweet potato fries, fried green tomatoes, and fresh made-to-order burgers. The food is always tasty, hot, fresh, prepared to order, and yummy, featuring outstanding homemade tartar sauce. The staff is awesome, friendly, helpful, and service is excellent. Prices are modest, though some note portion changes. It is a great alternative to cooking at the campsite, worth the ride, and recommended. Lines can be out the door by noon.
