Stopped by looking for nice vintage jewelry and this was the place! Karen was a lovely lady to help us find what we were looking for.My only complaint would be that the jewelry was not the condition she stated. She claimed she looked over all of her jewelry, and on my specific piece there was absolutely no wear and tear, only to walk outside in better light to see the clear wear and tear. In between the chain links there was black dirt that i could just wipe off, leading me to make the assumption that she does not clean her jewelry. She did not tell us what the jewelry was made of until we asked only to find out it was brass with gold coating, as she tried to tell it was 100% gold. Despite this, i still bought the bracelet as i loved it so much.A very minor complaint but still significant to me, she told us it was $120, my boyfriend pulls out $120 CASH and she rings him up and says “128.40” he handed her $130 and we walked out. As an antique store and a small business, it felt unnecessary and just an extra fee for no reason, all of the items are resale items and have already been paid tax on, very disappointing that you still rung him up anyways.

I recently moved to Athens and was looking for good antique shops, and some furniture for my new house. The online pictures intrigued me and I called to make sure they were open. Upon entering, I was wowed by the presence of this amazing establishment! YES! I was now in my element, and completing content. I found SO many things I needed, and of course, many "wants". Karen the proprietor, was warm, gracious, and inviting. What a lovely woman to deal with! She even let me leave my things there for a couple of months until we were able to get into our new home. I couldn't be happier with my visits to this amazing shop, and feel so welcome to the new town which we now call home, thanks to Ms Karen. I will be a customer for life!

What a special place! Karen is incredible and showed us around, telling us details and stories about all of her amazing pieces. Anything I was interested in, she took out of the case and let me try, and knew the background of everything. A vintage bloodstone signet ring caught my eye, so two days later I went back for it, and she even stayed late so I could come get it. I couldn’t be more happy with my ring or with my experience here. Plus, she is enforcing masks and requiring proof of vaccination, so I felt very safe shopping. Thank you Karen!!!!!

I was in a group of 3 people, antiquing around Athens. We were looking forward to spending some of our Christmas money. We looked up this shop and the pictures seemed interesting. We walked to the door and rang the bell, the lady who answered the door was on the phone. She continued talking on the phone while demanding we have masks, we say we didn’t bring any. Had she provided some we would have worn them. But no. Instead she also demands our vaccination cards. Last time I checked I was in a free country. Even if we had cards on us, it is a violation of all of our medical privacy to demand to see them.NOT ONLY THAT, she wasn’t even wearing a mask herself!!!I guess she doesn’t have a problem turning away a sale. If she is that afraid of the so called “pandemic”, she should just temporarily close. Simple. Instead of ostracizing customers. At the other stores we went to, even if the owners wore masks, they would welcome us graciously and ask us to let them know if we needed help. Even high end stores in Atlanta have better manners and do NOT have these ridiculous requirements.Buffoonery is what it is. Totally ridiculous. None of us have ever been treated that way in our lives.

Appreciated Karen keeping herself and her patrons safe by requiring masks and proof of vaccination. There were probably thousands of items, from every corner of the world, and Karen knew a little something about all of them. Really remarkable shop, and that's coming from someone who was just tagging along.

Requieres proof of vaccinations although doesn’t have it posted online anywhere? I understand the mask use because it is a requirement in this county but requesting a vaccination card that’s too far will take my Business else where, if the employees or owners don’t feel safe with customers coming into the location the business should not be open and conduct business online only

Stopped by at 2:00 on a Friday during normal business hours. Shop appeared closed, with a note saying that you can call for an appointment, and VACCINATION CARDS and MASKS are REQUIRED.
