My rabbit fell ill over the course of a week and I researched skilled exotic veterinarians to take him to for a second opinion. I made an appointment for him at this office - excited to hear from a vet who has been taking care of rabbits for decades. When we were first seen, I explained to the vet that I wanted some answers as to why he may not be improving in the way that I had hoped. He told me multiple times that I should just take my animal to UGA if I wanted answers, as he primarily does "outpatient things" with rabbits. The vet said he would not draw labs on him or do an ultrasound and I'd need to go to UGA. Our primary exotic vet offered all of these things. It seemed a tad dismissive. Despite this, I'm glad we were able to obtain a second opinion. If your rabbit needs immediate medical attention, I would recommend going elsewhere.

The staff and Doctors Sidner and Barker are wonderful . They have been our vets for at least 25 years or more. All of the front office staff are amazing people. The techa and Doctors could not be more caring even in times of sadness they are all a comfort.

Be AWARE of this vet if you have an exotic bird! Please go to a different vet. I took my bird here trusting that they would give the best care to my bird I loved so much and they put the bird down without my consent..they made its injury worse and took a piece of its beak off then prescribed the bird with medicine then the bird died literally 5 days later.

Everyone from the Vets to the rest of the staff are just always so nice and attentive. My Kobe does not dread going to them at all. Highly Recommend!

A very caring place. We had to have our cat put down that got very sick suddenly and they worked us in at the last minute. Very compassionate care.

I tried them initially because of their location being 10 minutes from my house. My dog, who is a little granny, has dementia and great anxiety in the car. It's become an awful experience getting her to her regular vet for the reasons above. We saw Dr. Barker and he was so good with my dog. Also, so informative. Really happy and we will be back.

We’ve been taking our dogs here for 5 years now and always have a great experience. That ended today when I was helped by Dr Sidner for the first time.My 13 year old lab needed to have her nails trimmed. When I explained that I used to trim them myself but her hips have gotten bad he replied “oh I can give you a pill for that”. I explained that I give her CBD and turmeric treats that help he brushed that off and said “well when those don’t work I can give you a pill for it”.He asked if I wanted to get her rabies shot while I was there and I said sure. After giving the rabies shot he commented “well now she’s legal with the county”.He was rude from the second he walked in the door which is a shame since the rest of the staff is always so nice and accommodating.

So great! My dog, Radar, is a regular patient here but they squeezed him in immediately after he cut his foot. The vet and staff were great with him. He is easily one of the wildest one-year old golden retrievers ever and they just love on him! Thanks Animal Medical Clinic. Radar loves you guys. Dr. Snyder did answer all questions I had. Radar is a college dog, and that means that his environment (from walks through campus, college housing, etc) can lead a cut like his to infection. Dr. Snyder has cleaned the wound and bandaged it but also started Radar on antibiotics and explained this was because he also had a concern for infection.

The staff and vet are amazing. I have been taking my dog and cat ( recently put to sleep because of health issues and they supported me all the way, even sent me a card of condolences signed by all the staff), they are awesome. Thank you for caring and for taking care of my pets

I am a nurse practitioner and I have taken my dog to this office 3-4 times. Each time it seems to get worse the staff is not friendly they don't smile or seem happy to be caring for animals. The last visit was horrible we left with my son in tears. We took or dog in for an injury to his leg and the vet was so short and nasty. He has a horrible bedside manner. He proceeded to tell me or dog had flea eggs and that what I had been using would not work. He stated it is up to you to buy what you want but Walmart brands do not work. I am not a vet which is why I trusted my dog would be taken care of by Sr. Synder.t was degrading and I have no problem purchasing what my dog needs but you should provide education if I am paying you $200.He was more than rude and did not take the time to explain anything or answer questions. I will say one staff member tried to explain things but he cut her off so she just stopped talking. I am surprised he has any staff at all. Maybe he does not like severing black people or maybe he is just rude either way I am a health care provider and I know people and animals deserve to be treated better and with respect. It's his practice so I guess he feels he is entitled to be rude.
