My family and I had an experience with Athens Furniture that was so amazing. The Customer service was outstanding. Lohani, Larissa and Jessica made our experience absolutely phenomenal and we left the store with a beautiful furniture set and rug.
We’re on my way back to purchase a table today… The deals are amazing. The ladies are very patient, knowledgeable, and eager to help. Our first choice in a furniture store.
Mike was equally as supportive of those helping us, he helped to finalize a deal at a great price!!
Lastly, they made the delivery process, simple, smooth, convenient! I hope you all have a great experience shopping with them as my family and I did💝.

It's almost 8pm and have yet to got my mattress I specifically told them it has to be delivered today cause it's my only day off... No phone call letting me know when to be expecting my delivery and I have to work in the morning so I'm not waiting up all night so I'm very disappointed

So upset I purchased a living room table set in June of 2024 and the tables are already cracking and changing colors. I have no children the tables just sit there and is not used at all. No reason for this to happen less than year after purchase. I spent I thought my furniture would last more than a year.

Received my living room set within a week. Delivery was very smooth, I just watched as they set everything up. 10/10 recommend

-NEGATIVE STAR!!! This place is crooked! I was informed that these employees are only paid by commission, so be aware of what you are told when purchasing with these people!! First they lied to me just to get a sell. I was only interested in one thing and I was told that it could be customized. I confirmed with the sales person 3 times before making the purchase. A week later, I called to confirm my delivery date. I was told that my furniture could not be customized. I went to the store and I told them I want to cancel everything but then they wanted to bargain instead and took $500 for the inconvenience. I agreed with that. We scheduled a new delivery date, I was told if it comes earlier then they would deliver it. I called to see if my furniture might’ve arrived early. I was told “I don’t know but you are scheduled for the 16th.” I asked the person on the phone to confirm first before saying “I don’t know” but I was told to call the winder store. On November 16th, I never received a call to confirm my delivery. I called this store a few times but no one would answer, so I reached out to the winder location. I was told I would receive a call back to confirm delivery. Then 2-3 hours later, I finally received a call confirming my delivery. I said “I decided to purchase elsewhere. So I want to cancel this order.” I was told to call the Athens location. I actually went to this store to simply say “I no longer need or want your services please cancel this order.” I waited in that store for over an hour in a half just to hear them say “We have a no cancellation policy.” I stated, “why the hell would you bargain with me when I came up here to cancel after finding out that it couldn’t be customized, if you don’t offer cancellations!!!” However, I did the 90 day buy out option with Koalafi and they can cancel a purchased lease agreement ESPECIALLY if you never received the item. This place is horrible! I purchased two items from here before so I didn’t think my third sell would turn sour!

I went Saturday to pick up a queen mattress. There were several people at the desk and all were very nice. The gentleman loaded the queen mattress and then I decided to buy a queen and twin box spring. Jessica was the only one to offer help. She went and found both box springs and with my help we got them loaded and strapped down all while the others watched us. Thank you Jessica for being so helpful.

I purchased a recliner chair 3/26/2024. The chair has been making a loud noise. I have been calling to settle the matter since September. I have been getting the run around. Now I am told that it will be last of November when the part arrives. This is not right. I paid $1500 for this chair and the think because I am a old man that they can ignore me. Be careful about buying from them.

Probably could have found everything I wanted but they were too pushy. It was like being in the worst car dealership ever. We couldn't get a second to ourselves to look or think. THe whole time they were there being just buy it Ill give a discount not letting me look and decide. Didn't buy anything as we couldn't get a second alone to look or discuss anything!!!

Went in about a week ago trying to find a comfortable affordable couch. I was immediately welcomed by Ms. Jessica and Mr. Adrian, and was informed about the wonderful discounts they had to offer. They helped me decide on the perfect couch for me and my family and only had to put little to nothing down. Thank you so much Athens Furniture.

We had a great experience furnishing our house with the help of everyone at Athens Furniture. We had a great experience with them helping us pick out the best pieces taking into account our taste and budget. I highly recommend them for any purchases you want to make for furniture and appliances.

3 months ago we made a purchase in this place until today they have not sent us anything that we bought I do not know I recommend them at all if you buy something it is because you need it not because the money hindered us the person who sold us now says that she does not take care of the delivery but only the sales I have been so many times that I think it embarrasses me more than them

First off, I bought my furniture from the Winder Home Furniture Store, but the Athens location is the one supposed to make the delivery for the items I purchased. Michelle, at the Winder location, has been amazing. Got me a good deal and helped me pick out my furniture.
Then, once it moved over to the people helping deliver my items it all went south. I was told my couches would be delivered next day, but never given a time nor did I receive a call before they just showed up two days later around 8:00pm. They also ripped paint and took a piece of wood out of my front door while getting the furniture inside. But before this happened… when I got ahold to a manager (I believe Jessica) at the Athens location to ask what the heck was going on… I was on hold for 17 mins then she picks up the phone to “help” me but stops mid sentence to take a personal phone call about setting up a friend’s banking account at Wells Fargo. And she then tells me my furniture will be delivered sometime that day. No time frame of when they would be there.
Then, the rest of my furniture was supposed to be delivered a week later. I did receive a phone call 10 mins before the guys arrived this time. But when the guys arrived they parked on my grass and on top of our sidewalk (instead of in the road or driveway). And one of the guys got upset bc they brought the couches that I already had as well and slammed the truck door and clearly got very angry. They also didn’t have all the pieces to the bench I ordered for my table so they told me they would be back Monday with the bench. It’s Wednesday now and I still haven’t heard a word from them. Currently on hold with the Athens store to fix the problem, and I’m VERY upset.

So thankful for Jessica Vaughn and the delivering staff for such amazing service and set up of all of our furniture. Great and professional customer service. Jessica helped make our purchasing experience amazing and stayed in touch through the process of waiting for delivery. Delivery staff set up everything quickly and made sure to clean up after themselves as well . Jessica even checked on us several days after the delivery to make sure that everything was what we expected.
