great variety of equipment

It used to be good, but the equipment is falling apart, the roof leaks (which they put out buckets, sometimes, but don't clean regularly) and they make it difficult to cancel. When the equipment works, they have a lot and the space is big.

It’s a clean and well maintained gym. But their cancellation policies and customer service information is lacking. I cancelled my membership in person at the end of February, and was told I’d need to pay for March as well due to their 30 day policy. I agreed and signed to pay for it and then be cancelled. Later that day they called me to inform me that they would cancel my membership immediately, without the 30 days, to avoid me being charged their annual fee. I thanked her but a week later *was* charged the annual fee. When I called to ask about it I was told I would receive a refund and they apologized. When I hadn’t received the refund after a week I called back, and again the employee said it should be there after a few more days. Finally I called a third time to ask when the refund would show up, and they informed me I actually wouldn’t be getting one, because of a new policy. If I hadn’t of called they would have continued to charge me March’s monthly fee as well and not have cancelled my membership like I was told numerous times had already happened. The ‘resolution’ they were able to offer me for not honoring the refund I was told I was getting, was simply that they weren’t charging me for March. Which an employee had already assured me they wouldn’t do, and really was not a resolution at all.Edit: I emailed member care a week ago and still have not heard anything.

The gym is fine but don’t book with their trainers. I have scheduled for kickoff three times and showed up to find that the trainer did not show up. Apparently being an employee and having an appointment doesn’t mean anything. Currently trying to get refunded but who knows if that’s possible. It’s just frustrating for people to not be respectful of your time.

Good luck canceling your member ship. I have called, sent in a letter, emailed the general manager. I don’t live in Athens anymore and I have been trying to cancel for 3 months and getting charged monthly after speaking to multiple people. At this point - just cancel your card at your bank ..

I have been going with my friend on her guest pass . we like to go between my gym and her gym. I really Like crunch they have a great facility but cleanliness is a factor there women’s locker room is disgusting !!!! if it was properly cleaned it would not be as big of a deal , but there is literally rings in the toilets floors are so nasty definitely not properly cleaned. just gone over with dirty mop& water. the hand dryer wall is nothing but a grossly dirty wall of all the dirt n skin cells of the thousand of other members who wash there hands. The showers are not any better with their own layers of ick! it is just concerning especially if they clean like this there tanning rooms and beds are getting the same level of service as the locker rooms and other parts of the gym . think about that next time you lay in one of there tanning rooms or wash your hands ect they charge outrageous prices for an over sold gym they don’t keep up with !

Really like the gym, but when I joined the GM there talked me into taking the special. Said I could down grade after the annual fee came out of my account. When I went to do that he tried to act like I wasn't a member. I had to show him where the fees was coming out of my account. Then after that he started being very rude. Maybe he gets an extra incentive if you have the 24..99 plan.??♂️

Unless you enjoy having to wait for machines, I'd strongly encourage shelling out a little extra each month to go somewhere nicer if it's in your budget. I only go here because it's a 20 minute walk from my apartment.I'm genuinely curious why the UGA students don't just go to Ramsey, considering it's included in the cost of they tuition. This place is constantly completely packed, unless you go really early in the morning or really late at night (after 10).

Super crowded in the evenings, Spacious gym however they are lacking in cleanliness. Also, too many pieces of equipment were out of order..... treadmills mainly

Not being able to cancel a membership unless you’re at your home store is beyond stupid. People move all the time. Every gym should have access to membership services. Not only that Andrew the manager totally blowed me off and walked off while I tried speaking with him as if he didn’t care in the world. Noah at the snellville location was a big help and guided me on what I needed to do. Customer service here is definitely a no star.

The positives are that the gym is very affordable, spacious, and easy to use. There's a range of facilities and for the more popular items there's enough provided that wait times are usually short. I have worked with two trainers, both of whom I found helpful. However, I have found the other staff unhelpful and occasionally rude. I was double charged for my trainer sessions, when I asked to speak to someone about this they first denied what I was saying was true, then defended themselves, and finally told me they could not help me. With my trainer's help I did manage to avoid being continually double charged, but I wasn't offered a refund. Additionally, I was encouraged by my trainer to use the workout log booklet the gym provides to track my progress. Today I discovered that the gym threw out this booklet along with every other in the second drawer of the filing cabinet. The staff denied knowledge, told me to ask someone else, and offered me nothing but a new booklet which I'm sure I'll enjoy until they throw it out again.

I started a membership here in January since I’d heard good things about Crunch from friends, especially about how good they are if I ever had to cancel. I was disappointed with the yoga classes, especially since one of the instructors made it more like pilates than yoga, which I have trouble with due to a bad knee and back. I decided to cancel my membership within 60 days and was met with alot of pushback from the managers and assistant manager. I had to get them to print the actual contract I signed, read it, and then read them the specific line that allowed me to pay off everything I owed to cancel my membership. Only then was I allowed to do this. It took three trips to Crunch within 24 hours and over 2 hours of my time to get this sorted. The managers were very helpful once they realized they made a mistake, but the assistant manager was very flippant with me, which I didn’t appreciate. He told me they don’t mention it as an option since “most people can’t afford to pay it all off at once”. So just be warned if you are interested in trying Crunch.

I would not go to this gym. Everytime I came majority of the machines were out of order. When I came in to cancel, it is a 25 day policy, so you will be charged for the next month. Due to the inconsistency and disorganization of the gym, I shouldn’t even be charged for next month. This gym is not up to par, I recommend going somewhere else.Update: I received a response. However, I am not pressed about the policy, but you should not charge people a full amount for the gym fee. The machines NEED to be fixed as soon as possible. It is ridiculous to pay for something that you can not use.

Dont sign for here. Been here 2 months. There are more broken machines than working. 75% of treedmills dont work. Trashy and empty sanitary stations. Leaks everywhere.Just go somewhere else. Ill be canceling my membership. This is just a cash grab to grift money from students because its $10. Id rather go to PF.*Edit. In response to the reply below. Today, while i was there. Every trash can was full and spilling over with paper towels. There were no bottles of sanitation spray along with very little to no papertowels in the despencers. I had to use the hand foam to wipe down the machine. There were lots of spills and loose trash everywhere.

It's cheap and has Almost every machine you could want. The staff are friendly, but Only half of the treadmills work. When students are in town, it is packed, and basic gym etiquette of replacing your weights is disregarded. That being said, worth the money
