Dudley Park is a large, cool, and beautiful gem hiding near downtown Athens. This 32-acre park features majestic hardwoods, open fields, and lovely green space along the North Oconee River. It offers a great spot for walking, biking, skating, birdwatching, picnicking, and playing sports. Visitors can hike, jog, or stroll on mostly paved trails, with some stretches along the river. The park includes a large parking lot, several picnic areas, and a covered pavilion with a grill and restrooms. There is also a small basketball court and hoop. It is a dog-friendly park with plenty of space, perfect for a short walk in the woods or a nice stroll on the greenway.

A cool, large park with an incredibly beautiful wooden bridge! We gathered here in the morning to start volunteering for Rivers Alive. Overall, it's very easy to find parking and there's plenty of space for walking and playing sports.
