Haven memory care is where i would NOT take my love one to that facility , they miss treat yall love ones & i also have on recording one of the employees mistreated love ones at the facility . Not only that the med techs for night shift is HORRIBLE and i also reported the incident to one of the workers in the office and also have videos of one of the med techs mistreating a resident ‼️

The community is Beautiful and Serene, a real Haven. As soon as u walk in , you feel the warmth and love! The residents are all smiles and seem very happy , not to mention the residents are clean and healthy . We only take care of Alzheimer`s and Dementia residents and we are well trained to do so! I highly recommend this community to your loved one, and friends if and when the time come! Lisa and her Wonderful staff will welcome you with open arms!! I'm sorry we cant please all families and disgruntled employees but we do take the very best care of the ones we have here.!

As a former hospice chaplain I have been in several care facilities throughout the Athens area. Based on personal experience I can say that Haven Memory Care is by far the best care community I have ever seen. Not only does the owner understand the importance of a holistic approach to memory care, she makes sure that it is implemented at every level. The residents are cared for physically, emotionally, and spiritually. For example, Haven Memory Care employs a part-time Spiritual Care Coordinator to make sure the spiritual needs of residents are being met. This may be a first in the Athens area. I highly recommend Haven Memory Care to those who are seeking high quality care options.

I have never been in a community where the residents are so happy to see you! I love being a part of the team. Everyone is so helpful and kind. I never felt like the "new kid". I felt like family from day 1!!

My Dad is 92 and needed more physical & mental care after receiving a broken clavicle with a 15 hospital stay. He became very confused, weak and total personality change from this episode. He could not go back to his assisted living. I found the Haven in Athens on line and I scheduled a visit. Greg was so knowledgeable and answered my questions concerning admissions to their facility. Lisa Brown, RN / owner talked with me concerning my Dad’s needs. She was very professional and also extremely knowledgeable about the level of care needed. My Dad was evaluated in the hospital and released to the Haven mid December. He was so weak, not eating much, not walking, hurting….they worked with him and guided me through this process. He is more alert now, beginning to walk, eating and improving…excellent care from Dona / director of nursing and all the compassionate, caring staff that understands and provides great care with dignity. I’m a retired registered nurse cardiac/ critical care nurse of 45 years and my level of care ecxpectations are high. The Haven is exceptional with their care …I’m extremely satisfied and now I can rest knowing my loved one is lovingly cared for by this incredible staff. Thank you & God Bless you all❗️Dottie Lewis

As an employee here, I can tell you that your family is our family. Between amazing staff, from Lisa to the caregivers, and consistent training, this is a top notch facility. You won't find a cleaner facility anywhere in Athens!! If you're looking for a home for your loved one where they'll be safe, treated with the dignity and respect they deserve, and most importantly treated and loved like family, Haven Memory Care is the place to be!

Recently moved a family member to Haven Memory Care. It is a beautiful facility. The staff are compassionate and friendly. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Being locally owned and smaller in size allows for more personal and flexible care. As a physician assistant I have seen a lot of long term care facilities and this is definitely one of the best. I feel good about having my family member as a resident of Haven.

What a wonderful facility! Newly renovated, beautiful décor, very soothing atmosphere. It is fully staffed and the staff is well trained, compassionate, caring and very friendly. They know every resident, their likes and dislikes, their personalities and they make sure each resident is cared for individually. The owner is terrific! She is local and always available. She has personal experience with dementia (her mom) and that makes her the ideal owner for a place like this. As a physician, I have seen a variety of facilities, but nothing like this that caters specifically to the dementia patient. I am extremely impressed and pleased with the care my mother is getting. I would highly recommend Haven Memory Care!

What a great community for folks with memory issues. It's small, locally owned and strictly for memory care. I moved my family member to Haven in September and couldn't be more pleased. All the staff is full time and they are all so caring. They treat you like family. Lisa went above and beyond to help us in a tough situation. Highly recommend if you are looking for memory care for your loved one.

My mom has Alzheimer’s and it sucks, it is heartbreaking and frustrating and so hard when you realize that you are no longer able to provide the care she needs. This is the situation my dad and I found ourselves in and we were lost as to what was best. We tried an assisted living facility that had a memory care unit, and it was awful. She was not receiving the care she needed, the staff was not properly trained and it was an overall bad experience. Thank God we found Haven. It is locally owned and operated, it only does memory care. All the staff are not only trained properly, they are the kindest most patient people I have ever met. They love my mother, and they take such good care of her. It is intimate location, all the residence are well loved and it is such a warm and inviting atmosphere. My mom feels at home and my dad and I finally have peace of mind that she is in the right place. Lisa, the owner is a true Saint. Her mom passed away from dementia so she just gets it. I have cried in her office on more than one occasion. I can’t express how truly grateful I am that we found Haven. It has been a life changer.

This beautiful facility is highly impressive! I toured the community, and it was pristine, clean, and beautifully situated among the trees. The staff was welcoming to guests and attentive to the residents. They are the best Alzheimer’s and dementia care in Athens!

As a local healthcare provider and now family member of a resident I could not be more pleased with this facility. The love and care they have for each resident is an amazing thing to see. It gives me peace of mind that my aunt is well taken care of and knows that everyone she comes in contact there love her just about as much as I do. As a healthcare provider they are easy to communicate with and have reasonable expectations. Love this facility and all of the lovely people that work there!
