“This is such a wonderful place from checkin to entire stay. Very comfortable rooms!! Location is walking!! Best of all, Valencia is the server at the breakfast bar. Her smiling face, positive attitude, and desire to truly please her customers goes beyond!! What Valencia did not know is that I was not feeling well and because of her positive energy and caring service, I feel much better. She made my day! Thank you sweet lady! ??”

“Modern layout, plenty of charging outlets and even direct USB ports except, oddly, on one side of the bed. They may have them, but I have yet to have a room with a view. Parking is straightforward although they like to charge you for that if it's not part of your package. Breakfast is generous and excellent with a wide variety of hot and cold options, excellent coffee But no espresso drinks if you go that way.

The location makes it pretty easy to get around town the hotel has decent amenities including outdoor seating and fireplace for evening gatherings or chats and a decent but not great, hotel gym.
The bathroom is nicely laid out even if the towels are basic, toilet tissue is top-notch :-).
The only small detriment was the tendency of the door to the room to close very loudly making it hard to go in and out without waking a family member

Rooms: Modern, well appointed, nearly upscale

Nearby activities: University of Georgia and downtown are not too far away

Walkability: One ugly block away from part of the campus”

“Loved. 6 stars. A perfect get away B&B. The couple that owns and run it make it very personable and are lovely.Bed was comfortable, room large and uncluttered, bath had a claw foot for full relaxation. Close to downtown Athens and the university. Would definitely go again.Rooms: Large, new, comfortableWalkability: Not walkable to anything”

“I travel a lot for work and this was definitely one of my favorite hotel spots. The room was practically a 1 bedroom apartment with a small kitchen small living room space and separate bedroom with a door. It was quiet at night, and there were a lot of options for breakfast in the morning. The gym was pretty spacious compared to other hotels as well. And the walkability was a plus as well.”

“This hotel seems expensive for the location and amenities. The double queen room was nice, and had a large bathroom. The in-room iron and ironing board were useful. And I did use the fitness center. The lobby and eating area were inviting, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However the hot breakfast was disappointing. The scrambled eggs were rubbery and the sausage patties were very greasy. The provided fruit juices were tasty, and the yogurt and toppings (from the hot oatmeal) were good. A selection of pastries would have been nice.It is within easy walking distance to a few eating places.”

“I stayed at this hotel for three nights. Check-in was extremely easy, and everyone at the desk was very friendly and helpful in finding my way around campus. Upon arrival I was given coupons for free coffee at the bulldog bistro as well as free breakfast for every morning of my stay. Parking was in a university parking lot just across from the hotel. However keep in mind that parking is not free! On the morning of my check out, an employee had slid an invoice for 30$ of parking fees- which would have been nice to know about beforehand.Otherwise, the hotel was great! The king bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the fitness room was nice. The free breakfast was also great! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing to visit UGA.”

“This is a 3 star hotel but De’ja at the front desk made it feel like a 5 star luxury resort! Her kindness really made our first time at a UGA football game taken to the next level.

Special mentions of the hotel - the breakfast is incredible and beats all the Hampton inn / any other free hotel breakfast. It’s a full hot spread with fruits and more!
There’s also a peanut butter cookie that was thick, moist and scrumptious!!

Thank you so much De’ja!!”

“Comfy beds, full size fridge, large desk, and nice bathroom.

Despite the abundance of restaurants here in Athens it's a struggle to find good breakfast.”

“This is a condo, not a hotel, and that makes it a great place for a family travelling together. We had a three bedroon, three bath with kitchen and living room which allowed six of us to socialize and hang out together. You just can't do that in a hotel. The condo is in downtown Athens, close to restaurants and bars and near the UGA campus. You can walk to almost everywhere you want to go. We have travelled for years an always get a condo when there are several of us. A hotel is okay for a place to sleep but a condo allows for spending time together in a place with sufficient room.”

“I grew up traveling across the country with my parents and it probably stayed at 300 or more hotels during my lifetime and I can honestly say this exceed my expectations. Not only are the owners here friendly and courteous but work very hard to make sure your needs are met. I've never engaged owners of a hotel that are as nice as these people. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyoneBrandy LloydRooms: Clean, efficient, and maeets your needsNearby activities: Georgia Square Mall is directly across the street and you have several restaurants surrounding the propertySafety: Have literally left with my door open one time unknowingly and nothing in my room was Disturbed when I came back”

“We were just an overnight here on a trip to the NC mountains. Glad we got off the beaten path to downtown Athens for a very pleasant experience. The coffee shop/Cafe barista was particularly charming.”

“Great price for the location, staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms need some serious TLC. Stained curtains, damaged furniture, damaged plumbing, and stained walls and ceiling.

Rooms: Rooms are decent but dated and need work. Elevator struggles and is loud. Found stains on curtains and wall. Tub faucet practically came out of the wall when switching to shower.

Nearby activities: Close to the college and minutes from downtown Athens.

Noteworthy details: Staff was extremely helpful in assisting visitors, recommendations, and getting rooms together for our travel party.”

“This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The staff were warm, helpful, and genuinely attentive from start to finish. The room was spotless, and everything felt fresh and well cared for.
Easily the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. I actually woke up feeling rested, which never happens when I travel.
Truly a great experience. I’ll be recommending this place and definitely coming back.
Thank you all!”

“It was very clean, quiet, and had a fantastic hot breakfast in the morning. They offered scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast, pastries, coffee, juice, etc.
I would definitely stay again.

Food and drinks: Fantastic breakfast.”

“I was in town for new student orientation at UGA with my son. We stayed 2 nights.
The front desk staff was friendly. My reasons for a 4 star instead of 5 may not be an issue for others.
1. Floors were not very clean. They looked like they had been swept but when I walked in my socks, my socks got pretty dirty. Usually, I have Crocs, but I forgot them for this trip. Everything else seemed clean.
2. We could hear EVERY sound in the hallway. Thankfully the hallway traffic quieted down around 11 so we could sleep. I did not hear the neighboring rooms or the floor above us.
3. They don't have individual complementary shampoo, conditioner, etc. They have a store size bottle attached to the walls. Not a fan. Thankfully, I remembered my own, but we did have to make a run to Target for my son.
The complementary breakfast was good and typical of hotel breakfasts. The woman putting out the breakfast items was very friendly.

We stayed at another hotel across the street (next to Longhorn) and the Hampton Inn was a better experience.
We will return when visiting our UGA student.

Rooms: Other than the floors, the room was clean. The new non-carpeted floors need to be mopped with disinfectant and clean water after every guest.
Hallway noise can be heard.

Walkability: There are many restaurants nearby to walk to or just a short drive.”

“Everything was fine. Personally with everything going on right now I thought 700 per nite was a little to much. I could see 300 but 1400 for 2 nites just for somewhere to lay your head and take a bath to go to the game. Dang

“This hotel was a God send after our Air BNB didn’t work. Pete and his crew are so sweet and accommodating, it’s not the Ritz, but it was clean and safe. The Blind Pig Tavern across the street has the best hot wings I can remember and is a great place to catch college games!”

“Rooms: Smoking and non smoking available

Nearby activities: Close to downtown and all sorority!
