When I went in this store a while ago I wanted to get my hair washed they looked at me like I was some homeless person like I didn’t have money. Why because I’m black . I will never in my life want to go here after being treated so awful. I’m very sure they will remember my face when they see my picture. They say they were busy but there was not even many working. Definitely do not want to return here after that I just never left my review.

Went in earlier today, the salon was small but the staff nice. I was getting an airbrush tan for a wedding in two days. She knew the dress I would be wearing in the ceremony was strapless. She asked me to look over myself after she was finished and had stepped out. The lighting in the room was odd and it was difficult to see the coloration. As the day went on I kept finding splotches of uneven color I would try to rub off a bit, like the machine was not spraying properly and caused darker random freckles. I can live with that. I didnt notice anything further that bothered me until eight hours later when getting ready for bed. I'm wearing a strapless black dress and there is a very distinct line on my inner arm on both sides where there is absolutely no color. It's tan, then white. It goes from the inside inner upper arm to the back side of it and is very very noticeable from the back. Now it's had time to set in and I don't know that I can fade that distinct line in time, and if I can the color is still missing. I am leaving town for the wedding and cannot do a touch up. I am overall happy with the airbrushing but this section being missed on each side it is very frustrating and I hope it isn't too completely obvious at the ceremony. If I weren't in the wedding party it wouldn't be a big deal, but I am and this is upsetting. Probably won't got back.

I have been a client at Karma for 5 years now and get compliments on my hair all the time! Lynn is a superb colorist, the likes of which I haven't found at any other salon in Athens or Atlanta. I live in Atlanta and make the trip to Athens every month for my hair appointment. As a former Regional Manager of a large salon and spa business, I know a thing or 2 about what makes a good stylist and colorist, and Lynn is exceptional.
