Fast and efficient service in the repair store. Their process was explained (deposit, estimate, repair, pay with refund on deposit) and we were informed of the expected time for repairs. Loved the level of communication and excellent service!I even found some half-sized jam pots for canning that I had been searching for for months. And they were reasonably priced.I will definitely be going back to Luke's in future.

Let me start by saying that I've always advocated the Mom and Pop stores over the big box places so this is hard for me to do, but I had a problem with this store and need to post this review. The hardware side has always been very helpful and has lots of odds and ends that the big boxes don't. The service has always been great too. The store has a separate section for power lawn and garden tools, blowers, chain saws, trimmers, etc, that's where my issue lies. I took a Stihl gas blower in because it wasn't running well. Turns out it was the carburetor, which they replaced. Common problem on 2 cycle engines, no biggie. I used it a couple of times and it wouldn't run unless the choke was half on. I took it back and they said the carb setting just needed to be dialed in. I just picked it up and was charged for the carb adjustment.....!! I mentioned to the fella at the counter that it was a new carb that they replaced and didn't run correctly. He just outlined the charges and said to pay at the front counter. I took it up front and mentioned to the fella there that I didn't think it was fair to charge me for the adjustment when it didn't run correctly after the carb replacemment. His reply was "Wish I could do something, but I can't." I hate to go back to the big box stores, but this wasn't right. If you repair something and it still doesn't work you don't charge the customer a second time. There's another Stihl dealer a bit farther away and I'm going to go there next time for service and I guess I'll join the herd at the big box hardware stores. :-{ UPDATE 5/7/19 I used the blower today and guess what....... It still won't run unless the choke is left in. Sorry, but I'm downgrading the rating to one star.

I typically make it a point to shop local businesses but will never go here again. Besides the prices being expensive, the employees have always been rude and seem unappreciative of my business.

i went there to pick up parts for my mower. walked in and went straight to the parts counter. i was greeted by girl at the front door as soon as i walked in. as i walked to the other side of the store to the parts counter, i looked to see if there was anybody there to help me. a older gentleman was sitting at the counter and was being helped by 1 employee. i waited for about 5 minutes behind the older man for my turn to come up. the employee behind the counter never made eye contact with me, never greeted me, nor even acknowledged my presence there. after a few minutes of waiting, another man walked in after me and waited next to me. once the 1st fella was done, the parts counter employee looked up and greeted the guy that came in after me and proceeded to help him and ignored me completely. i then started to walk out. as i was walking out, another employee asked if i needed help, i told him i needed parts, and he pointed back to the parts counter. i told this employee that i had been waiting, but didn't know how much longer i needed to wait if other people who came in after me were going to be helped instead of me. the employee at the customer counter said "well he was here before you, that's why." i said sure thing and left bad customer service at it's best
