I want to leave a review here because i noticed mine on google won't post for some reason... I used to work here and decided to take a look recently to see what people are saying and it's so interesting to see what people have had to say. As a previous employee let me tell you i've peeled off about hundreds of made in vietnam stickers from the objects they sell. Jane and Natalie also have made me feel uncomfortable time after time. From being told i can't wear clothes that the other girls were wearing because my body type is different and on me my clothes look "unprofessional and provocative" but perfectly normal on the other girls to a coworker telling me Jane almost made her cry because she was told "she speaks and acts like a child is lucky to be paid $10 an hour because no where else will hire her for that price". There's a reason they have new employees every couple of months. Let me add makeup is a requirement to work there, to be a sales associate in a small store in a college town. Was constantly nitpicked for every little thing, didn't clean the dust properly, didn't stack efficiently enough, and most of all don't look like you're doing nothing even if you're done with all your side work. Once i told Jane i was leaving for another job instead of wishing me well she told me that my next job was useless (i was making 50% more at my new job than there) and that this job was going to teach me so much. If anything i left this job knowing to not let my superiors walk all over me.

Great shop with not only a wide variety of jewelry and fun gifts, but also the staff is great; friendly, fun, and knowledgeable.

I'm a citizen of a federally recognized tribe and a recent graduate from the Institute of American Indian Arts, the only tribal university specializing in American Indian art based out of Santa Fe. I moved to Athens for work and found this store.Just non-Indigenous folks pandering to some vague hippy connection with American Indians. To characterize any of the contents of this store as 'cultural' is offensive. Having a small selection of goods purchased from actual native-owned businesses and sold at a significant markup does not change my thoughts on this.Fitting that this store finds its home in Georgia, the state from which my own tribe was forcibly removed.

White people being white. Support actual indigenous artists. Truly a mockery, sham, and a disservice to indigenous artists. Also I promise you, lemonade is not a traditional Native American treat

I asked a store employee how much of their stock was made by Native Americans and her answer was less than 10%. The name of the shop is misleading and should be changed.

I give two stars because the girl that actually took care of my purchase was super nice, otherwise I would give 1 star. I was in town visiting because my dog was at the UGA vet and I was waiting to pick her up. I was wearing my favorite gemstone ring that I literally wear all the time. While I was looking at these little carved figurines, one of the attendants (not the cashier) complimented me on my ring but immediately asked if it was mine. “Your labradorite ring is beautiful, is it yours?” It took me a second to realize that she was low key asking if I had taken the ring because she has similar rings for sale on display. I was so shocked I didn’t even know what to say. I told her, “yes, it’s my ring. I wear it so often it has a lot of scuff marks and scratches.” She followed up with something under her breath that I didn’t quite catch. I purchased my little carved figurines and left. I was so shocked and bothered by that experience that I can say I won’t be coming back in. And to that rude employee, you aren’t the only store that sales labradorite gemstones rings, if you’re so worried about theft, set up cameras and review them.

very small selection of the merchandise is native american made. the rest is from vietnam or china. the owner jane is also rude to customers and her employees. i had a friend who worked here and jane told her she didn’t deserve to make more than $9 an hour and was lucky that jane hired her. jane is also a white woman who has no ties to native american culture and is using their name to make money. extremely overpriced as well.

The blonde woman at the cash register made me and my friend very uncomfortable when we came into shop with inappropriate questions and comments regarding the presence of black people in Athens. We were going to purchase jewelery, but we're so put off we left.

Absolutely love! There was a necklace here today that I thought was beautiful but I wished it was choker length instead of the longer/regular necklace length that it was, and Natalia turned it into a choker for me right there and didn’t even charge extra! Will definitely be going back.

My kids and I went in recently to visit one of my favorite stores here in Athens. There are so many beautiful and creative gifts in every corner of the store. We’re always impressed and pleasantly surprised by all of the things going on in the store whenever we visit. The staff is always helpful and they find creative ways throughout the year to show their gratitude for their customers. ❤️

This is my absolute favorite shop in downtown Athens. They have a wide variety of gorgeous jewelry and wonderful gifts. It also sells various metaphysical items such as sage and crystals. I love how their selection includes both high end pieces and more affordable options so that everyone can find something cute no matter their price range. Everything in the store is very organized and nice to look at. Even the smell is pleasant! The staff is incredibly nice. Miss Jane, the owner, is a very very sweet lady who cares a lot about her customers. Natalia, another employee, always helps me have a welcoming experience. Some other things to note are that they have free gift wrapping and they keep dog treats behind the counter! How sweet!

I really wanted to like this place, but the last several times I’ve been in, I’ve been treated rudely by the older, short haired woman who I believe owns the store. I wanted to purchase some turquoise jewelry, but my interaction with her was horrible. She spoke to me, other customers, and the other employees harshly and curtly. The items in the store are beautiful and nice but this woman’s attitude is not! She makes me not want to return.
