I’ve done this many times a couple hours before closing and each time I go inside the gentlemen says wow just call we will bring it out to you. Then the one time I do call I’m told they won’t bring it out. Def need to get the staff on the same page. Seems to be an issue with corporate stores. That said they have the food I need for my sick dog. Normally go to another pet store that’s closer to my home and better pricing but they don’t carry what I need.

I took her to Bark and not only does she smell amazing now but her nails are trimmed perfectly! I added on merry cranberry and you can smell the cranberries. Highly recommend using them!

The team at South Athens was phenomenal and saw me on very short notice, despite the lack of information I could provide on the situation. They did a full exam, made me completely at ease, and helped me get her up to date with vaccines. My only mistake was not bringing her here sooner!

Athens Veterinary Surgery Center
2315 Prince Ave, AthensWe were referred to Dr. Stampley in 2023 when our husky tore her right CCL. We elected for surgery and noticed an immediate difference in our gal Scarlett. Fast forward to 2025 and she also had a tear in her left CCL. We did not hesitate to bring her back in to see Dr. Stampley! After consulting with Dr. Stampley we decided a second knee surgery was the best route. During both procedures and leading up to the procedures the staff and Dr. Stampley were wonderful in explaining everything. The care Scarlett receives when she is there is fantastic. She is now able to be pain and enjoy being a dog rather than sitting on the sidelines. If you are hesitant to get the surgery, I was, I would say to do it and do not look back. The recovery is tough but it is well worth it.

Companion Animal Hospital
2000 US-29, AthensI found a small kitten by the on ramp to the hwy off exit 9. She had just gotten hit by a car. I took her to Companion Animal Hospital before they were open and saw a lady walking a dog. She ran in and opened the door for me. Within seconds the ladies had taken the kitten in to see the Dr and the Dr had started treatment dealing with the kittens pain and trauma.
Kitty will heal and be good to go thanks to the immediate action by these amazing people!
Thank you so much Companion for your prompt help and concern for that tiny baby. I will be forever grateful.

Creature Comforts Downtown Taproom and Brewery
271 W Hancock Ave, AthensWe took a short 10-minute walk from our hotel and headed in. When we arrived, we were informed we could place our order at either the inside or outside bar. We decided to go inside and check it out. This spot really feels like the beer mecca of Athens, Georgia, UGA shirts everywhere and we could tell we were in a college town. We looked over the full menu, ordered our beers, and decided to check out the outdoor patio area. It was game day and packed out there. We couldn't really find a good seat so we went back in where there was plenty of seating. Inside, there were big screens everywhere, especially one massive screen in the main area, perfect for watching the game. There were two bars and plenty of space if you wanted another beer. Everything was super clean and well-maintained, with staff constantly scanning the room and clearing empty glasses and trash quickly. There's not too much to say about this place. Overall, it's easy to see why this place is considered the mecca of UGA football and the Athens' beer community.
