had such a wonderful experience! the women behind the counter was very kind and helpful with recommendations and wound my yarn for me into 2 cakes by weight for my project. beautiful selection of yarns, i will definitely be back!!

I'm so happy Athens has a yarn shop like Revival! When I want quality yarn, I head to Revival. They also host classes. I learned how to knit there a few years back. Nice people working there. They also have cute knickknacks as a gift for those crafters in your life.

Wonderful shop in college town UGA. Beautiful high end yarns including Cascade with lots of choices of colors. Samples were great for ideas and many free patterns! Lindsay, a co-owner, was great help and delightful to talk with. A must visit!

Nice shop, but no one spoke to me when I came in, even after asking several questions, not very welcoming - very disappointing. I came from out of town and was really excited about seeing a new to me shop.

I'd been looking forward to Revival opening back up for quite some time, but I was super disappointed in my experience today. I hate rating a LYS anything less than 5 stars, but this is not at all what I've come to expect from a yarn shop. My expectation is that I'll at least be acknowledged (but not smothered!) by staff and there will be a diverse selection of yarn in larger quantities. I was disappointed on all counts: I walked in and no one spoke to me or acknowledged me in any way, the selection is extremely limited, and they seemed pretty short on stock. I went in there needing 2000 yards of worsted single color yarn and didn't find anything. I sincerely hope the experience improves, I want to see this store succeed. :(

Tip: As of this posting, Google the actual address vs the shop name because google gps will take you to their former location down the road. Friendly, very nice staff. Helpful, but not *smothering.* Very clean, well organized small shop!

Amazing local yarn shop with very involved owners and an amazing community! They feature many locally made and locally dyed yarns which are always perfect souvenirs for the knitter on vacation. They also have a great selection of needles and fiber-related gifts, as well as a massive selection of high quality yarn.
