Emily is great — a pleasure to deal with and super knowledgeable about wine. The secret sauce at Shiraz is their specialty groceries. Emily curates a selection every week of very high quality seafood meat vegetables and bread. The seafood especially is things you can’t get anywhere else in Athens. The groceries almost always sell out so get on the email list to get first crack.

Emily is very friendly and knowledgeable on wines. When asked for options she stayed within pricing range and knew exactly what would compliment meals and get togethers. She has many different options, a lot which are made in Georgia. Please support our home town businesses and visit Shiraz!

I'm a big fan of Shiraz. As a lover of wine, I love their large wine selection and the fact that they have some you just can't get anywhere else. The owner, Emily, is incredibly knowledgeable and is able to answer all my questions pretty easily.The store is packed with a lot of high quality items from premium food/snacks to household items, so it's super hard to leave empty handed.

This place is eclectic and a trip! Lots of interesting wine choices - several reasonably priced options. Literally packed high wall of wine with ever other nook and cranny packed with stuff. Owner was super chatty and knowledgeable-- if I lived locally I'd probably be a regular patron. Check it out if you need a really nice bottle of wine! It was a little hard to find on the map but it's in the shopping center - plenty of parking!

Great wine selection! Emily, the owner, is amazing! Love the fresh locally grown vegetables, premium pastas and sauces in shop, and wine tastings! The wine club is awesome, too. If you haven't been here yet, you are missing out!

Came by today and was greeted by a cute DOGGO! You can get some wine by the glass, you can buy bottles, and you can get cheese, chocolate, crackers and pair them upstairs! Great place!

Add gifts to the business category! There are so many unique, non-wine items that would make wonderful gifts. Excellent experience today while shopping for a wine enthusiast friend. My budget was respected & the shop clearly knows their wines! Looking forward to returning for food items, as well as more wine . Thank you for a pleasant, stress-free shopping trip!
