Refuses to answer my messages regarding my hair extensions. The extensions are my property and I can't them back! This is no way to treat a past client let alone a stage 4 cancer patient! You closed your business and now you are hiding, absolutely ridiculous!

Jennifer and the team at Tame did an amazing job for my wedding hair and makeup. They were easy to work with, responsive, and adjustable. If I could give zero stars I would. Do NOT bother going here. I made an appointment with the owner for a blowout on the day of my best friend’s wedding. I showed up to my appointment about 10 minutes early and the salon was dark, no one was there, and it was CLOSED - even though they were supposed to be open according to their posted hours. I tried calling - no answer. I wound up finding a salon around the corner, and the manager at the new salon said this happens all the time!! Do not waste your time with their business! Terrible worst salon I've ever been too. They didn't even know how to wash hair I walked out looking like a greasy mess. Pretty sure these girls were hired off Craig's list as a last minute option as stylist. Better off doing your own hair

I’ve spent $279 on getting my hair corrected bc they messed it up and fried my hair, not including paying tame for my hair which I left in a messy bun. Very bad experience and will not go back. This is my hair when I made it home.

Do not go here…the owner did my hair and messed up. Had to put a perm in my hair 2 times and I still left with a big mess and no curl. I also wanted my sons haircut and it is patchy and uneven. I was in the salon for 5 hours trying to fix my hair that should have only taken 2…don’t go here

Cannot recommend highly enough. I walked in today in emergent need of a hair care fix. These fine folks took me in and were able to quickly remedy my problem. Very nice staff. Very relaxed environment. Thank you guys for helping me!

Awful experience!! My friends and I went into Tame to get blowouts on Saturday before a wedding that afternoon. The lady doing my hair didn't use a round brush the whole time she dried my hair and just shook my hair around making it a frizzy mess. She then proceeded to try curl my hair before it was completely dry. She also had to stop halfway through to wash out another employees color in her hair. While she was gone, she let a lady that was there to set up her spray tan business continue to curl my hair. She said "you just wrap the hair around the curling iron and hold until it gets warm." Who lets someone who has never curled/done someone else's hair experiment on a client who had an event to go through afterwards?! Needless to say all 3 of us had to go home and rewash our hair before the wedding because there was no way to recover the damage. Absolutely will never recommend Tame to anyone!! I wish I could give 0 stars!

Called on a Saturday needed advice on a home color that was not working for me. The lady who answered the phone was very welcoming and asked if I can come in to consult with Jennifer. When I arrived very busy for a Saturday. I was a walk in, made me feel welcome and told me they would be with me very soon. I spoke with jennifer about the Damage hair she was very knowledgeable and we discussed a game plan. Came back three days later and my results were amazing. I appreciate the time she took with me to discuss my concerns and what I need to do to get my hair back to a healthy stage. We think using box colors will make a difference because it’s cheaper but prices are not bad with positive results. Go see the tame team don’t use box colors. Thank you jennifer for your kindness and knowledge service.

Absolutely amazing! I was in town for UGA 40 Under 40 awards and Jennifer did such a great job on my hair and makeup that I came back the next day!! If you need hair and makeup, look no further!! Jennifer is you girl!! I wish I could bring her back home with me.

Jennifer and Melissa are miracle workers They took me very last minute and went above and beyond with hair and makeup for a wedding. They both exceeded any expectations that I had. They are both just good people and I highly recommend to anyone in the Athens area.

Horrible, I am so upset. I went here to get my hair and make up done for my engagement pictures & I showed up early & they knew I was waiting and still ignored me and continued to curl someone else's hair even when they said it was fine because they were already late for my appointment. She then was curling my hair and burnt me and completely ignored when I jumped in pain. And worst of all my hair didn't even stay for my pictures which is very unlike my hair to not hold a curl. Not sure why it didn't stay. For the makeup... they had a worker who was stopping by to say hi, jump in to do mine. She didn't have any of her own make up and grabbed and used whatever she could. Did not do anything professional about my make up at all. The make up was all drug store stuff too. Basically everything I could already do, i looked the same as when I do my own. So completely pointless to go here and my hair looks horrible in my engagement photos. Ugh!
