We just had a fantastic experience at this delightful little shop! My two young boys and I were searching for Pokémon cards and found exactly what we were looking for. The owners of the shop Laura and Sean were super friendly and took the time to answer the many questions my enthusiastic eight-year-old had! We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be visiting again soon!

Went in looking for Pokemon and the first thing you notice, other than the disorganized piles of games/TCG products, was the horrible stench of body odor in the air. The person who helped me wasn’t really helpful after finding out that I was there for Pokemon. He had a few things, all very over priced and didn’t really seem to want to help me. Overall dull experience and I was in and out in less than 2 mins… not very nice to visit a store where you don’t seem wanted. I definitely won’t be back for anything they offer.

Just stepped out of Tyche's, and I can officially say I've found my Athens flgs! Sean and Laura are so friendly and helpful, and the selection their store offers is amazing!

It’s an awesome little store with a ton of stuff. Gaming supplies, Books, Minis, paints , and dice. The gentleman working the day I went was very helpful. Found some stuff so was looking for and even got a set of custom dice from the store.

this place was amazing! i saw this while around in the uga area, and decided to check it out. the dice goblin in me took over and was ecstatic to see the vast designs and types of dice. also there were so many different rpgs, games, miniatures, and other things to see. also the staff was very friendly and helpful with my experience. would most definitely go back

As students, my friends and I frequent Tyche's Games whenever we can. They always have everything stocked and organized and the selection of games is endless. We often have game nights and all of our games have come from Tyche. We are loyal customers and will be as long as they remain in Athens.

This IS the place for all things new and old games! The atmosphere and vibes are inviting and the owners are an absolute delight. I recommend Tyche's Games to all of my friends and to others looking for the best games in town. They have all types of board games and tons of cards like Pokemon and Magic: the Gathering. If they don't have what you're looking for, they'll order it.If you've lived in Athens your whole life or if you're new to town or visiting, I highly recommend at least walking in and checking out what they have. You never knew you needed a game until you walk into Tyche's! I would honestly give this local game shop place a 10/5 star review if I could.

This place is like stepping into a wizard's library of all things tabletop. Staff is super knowledgeable and had first-hand experience with the all of the games I had questions about. I was able to get some out of print things and will be going back soon to pick up a few other books. Highly recommend

What an awesome little game store. The dice goblin in me was ravenous here! Plus I was able to pick up various items for my D&D game. I saw three different Labyrinth games I wanted to get, so I'll definitely be back. Just floor to ceiling of unique and interesting games. And I'm not sure if it was the owner working or a staff member but SO nice, answered my questions, super helpful. 10/10 would recommend and I can't wait to go back though it will be a very perilous trip for my bank account
