Okay, I found all the things on my list except for getting the wrong vegetables. That is where the experience turned south. I came back to the Walmart store to return the vegetables that same day. I was directed to a cashier who could handle my return since customer service was closed at 9:50 pm. The cashier said that she doesn’t do returns and I should come back tomorrow at 8am when customer service was open. I came back at 8:45 AM. No one was there at customer service. It was 2 employees looking for cashier’s tape for the registers. I then walked to a cashier who was able to take my return. Walmart, I need a gas voucher! Because that’s terrible coming to the store 2 times to make a return! Just Terrible!

I’ve chose Walmart Marketplace for all my prescription needs because it’s the absolute best pharmacy I’ve come across in Athens. The personal assistance I get from this location is absolutely superb. I recently received a statin medicine from my doctor that had me very frightened out of my mind. The pharmacist, Laura, took a great deal of time to help me understand the drug and how it works in the body. I had many concerns about statins (as do others that I know). I learned, in great detail, how statins work in the body, and many things I thought in my uneducated mind were completely wrong. Laura cared enough to teach me on my level, and my fears were alleviated by her kind and informative approach. I can tell, Laura really cares about me. Time after time, I scare myself over different medications, snd shots or vaccinations I have to get, but Laura never fails to take the time to help me get over my fears. Anyone can see the love in her sweet eyes for her profession and the folks she serves, and I am blessed to be fortunate enough to have Laura’s unsurpassed council on the medications I don’t understand - explained on a level I can comprehend. Everyone on staff at Walmart Marketplace Pharmacy is just as kind and caring about me, Amy, Phil, Fredricka, and the sweet gal that always gives my doggie a treat at the pickup window! It’s the best pharmacy I’ve ever been too, and that’s a fact!

Today October the 9 2024 at 1pm I when to get a fresh roast chicken. No only the workers are rude unhelpful, but I find a black hair in my chicken.
I’m very disappointed with this location, no more roast chicken ever from this location.

Great for convenience and less crowded shopping experience. Terrible for customer service and friendly staff. I feel bad because I know the good workers are strapped and over tired, but it doesn't make the experience of waiting over 15 minutes for someone to even come your way at customer service any less true. The woman before me had waiting nearly 20 minutes and the customers in front of her had been helped but then the employee said it was time for their break and left her to wait on her own. She left with her concerns untended to and very upset. I waited there for another 15 minutes with no help at all. Not even a mention as to what was going on. There was one employee who was sympathetic and tried to intercom help, but no one came. Thank you to Jessica, the employee who cared, intercommed and added to her busy job to help at another station. Keep up the good work and hopefully you are commended for your hard work. It's noticed by customers.

Recent changes in self checkout policies are HORRIBLE!!! Walmart needs to rethink their policies around this otherwise they are going to lose more and more customers.
At this store, I have had nothing but BAD experiences because they always try to force us to use regular checkout instead of self-checkout. That is ridiculous when there is a line in regular checkout (always only ONE register open) and I don't want to have to have a person checking me out when i am buying personal and potentially embarrassing items. The staff is very rude about it, too. They say they do this because they want self checkout to operate more as an express checkout. Well then you need to open up more regular and self checkout lanes. I also want to note that I am very fast and dilligent when doing self checkout. I get through it very quickly, I make sure I scan every item, and I don't ever leave a mess behind for them to have to clean up. And still, they try everything to force me to use regular checkout. I will not come back to this store. Many of my friends also stopped using this store for the same reason, and I don't blame them. If i could give them 0 stars, I would. Very unsatisfactory shopping experience.
