Friendly and helpful staff. What you expect from a local hardware store. Feels like a family owned shop. Pricing is fair and location is great for the overall Mt. Vernon/Chamblee Dunwoody area. I'm grateful for the convenience of the store. Almost everything you'd want and expect from a traditional hardware store. Ace products are of excellent quality along with the many higher quality manufacturers and suppliers they carry and represent.

Prices are high, especially since there’s both a Lowe’s and Home Depot within reasonable distance.
However lowering the flag for a far right podcaster was a choice that makes me never want to drop an additional dime here.

Every time I visit this store, I’m greeted right away by a team member who kindly asks what I need and offers genuine, helpful assistance. On my most recent visit, Ms. Judy went above and beyond while helping me choose interior paint. She encouraged me to view the sample under different lighting—inside under white light, outdoors in natural daylight, and against various backgrounds—so I could feel confident in my choice. This extra care made all the difference, especially since I’ve struggled to find the perfect color in the past.
The gentleman on staff are also always quick to assist whenever I’m searching for a specific piece of hardware.
This team consistently delivers outstanding customer service. Thank you, Dunwoody Ace Hardware!

maybe it's because I'm older, maybe it's because I'm a homeowner, or maybe it's just because the staff is so friendly and helpful, but I genuinely have a favorite home repair store now and it's this one.
I find the other chains super overwhelming, too big, not enough staff. Ace is the opposite: it's a manageable size and I've never had to go out of my way to find an employee to help me.
I genuinely look forward to going here. whenever I need paint mixed, keys made, or other random things for the house, I feel a little rush when I realize I get to go to Ace. weird? maybe.
I just feel so blessed to be so close to this store. thank you all for the work you do!

Had a very friendly greeting as soon as I entered. Was helped within seconds and their attendant expressed interest in my project and was helpful every step of the way. Will definitely return here! Did you know they have a great selection of greeting cards?!

I bought my grill here, and this place is quickly becoming my go-to shop for everything. Not only do they carry the best products, but the hospitality is truly unmatched. Everyone in the store is ready to help at any moment, and many of the employees have been there for over 10 years — which is rare to see these days. They genuinely care about their customers.
A special shoutout to Mark, who helped me with my grill. He's probably one of the best people I’ve ever met. He even took the time to come to my house to help me fix it. People like Mark are hard to find these days.
