This is the absolute worst auto parts store around. Every time I’ve been in, the service is terrible. Expect to exit at least 20 minutes for anyone to check out. The people working here have no idea how to even run their register or how their systems work. The last straw was today when my wife tried to buy a replacement rear wiper. Of course, even though Advance Auto Parts site said it was compatible with her vehicle, it was not. Trying to return it was a nightmare. The woman at the counter was extremely rude. And of course they had no other blade to even buy to replace it. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for any auto parts.

I had horrible experience with DENNIS R. He was very unprofessional and difficult to work with. Earlier this day, I visited an AAP in Austell, GA and the associate was very helpful and informative. He allowed me to check all of the prices of brake pads in stock on the screen and kindly checked me out. However, Dennis R. was the complete opposite. He tried to sell me the most expensive brake pads and lied and said that they were the only available parts in stock. I asked to see the list of items on the screen like I had earlier in Austell, and saw that in fact, there were more brake pads in stock and asked for a different box. But Dennis R. lied and said that I wanted the premium box when I hadn’t. After he reluctantly returned with the box I actually wanted, Dennis R. asked for my i.d. to make sure I was the name on my AAP account, because he “needed it”, which is also a lie.Well, Dennis R. you definitely made this experience a memorable one. I will never visit this location again. And anyone else who happens to be a woman or Black, please consider going elsewhere so you don’t have to deal with discrimination and prejudice from DENNIS R.

I came to this store on Clairmont to purchase a replacement Diehard battery for my car. I had come from Advance on Cheshire Bridge that did not have the battery in stock. Keep in mind that I was driving across town and had to keep jumping the car and was desperate for a replacement battery. When I walked in, a very rude woman with a clipboard (named Sonya) walked from the aisle to behind the counter. She was not dressed like an employee with any Advance markings. She asked what I wanted. I explained that I needed a replacement battery and that Cheshire Bridge was out. she configured the sales screen and noticed the time needed might be 30 minutes. she told me she could sell me the battery, but no one at her store could install it. She said because it listed 30 minutes, that it needed to be 'professionally installed' and was not eligible for the FREE INSTALL. she said I could buy the battery and go down the street and PAY to have another mechanic to do the install. She had at least 4 employees in the store and very few customers at the time. The Diehard is already twice as much as what I paid 4 years ago, so I definitely couldn't add additional expenses to the purchase. I told her that it's a simple install, so she sent two of her employees to look at my car. My bracket has three mounting screws plus the terminals. The employees went back in to ask for permission and she declined. I purchased the battery anyway, hoping I could convince someone to install it. The receipt that printed had a giant white streak down the middle and was practically unreadable. I will NOT go to this Advance any more. My roommate and I came in for the smallest issue...replacing our car key battery! Seems like a nonissue, right? Wrong. Turned out to be a complicated matter, but never fear! Sonya and Dennis were there! They helped us find the correct battery and solve the puzzle that was our car keys! Neither were stressed or too busy for our silly complications! They were an absolute joy and so helpful! Employees of the year! Thank you Dennis and Sonya for making these helpless females' day!!!

This store is awesome! I came in with a portable jump box that went bad on me. They usually don’t return them but because mine had a lifetime limited warranty the manager exchanged it for me! I’m not just saying this store is awesome because I got what I needed with my exchange. It was the manager, he was highlight of the experience. And I can see why each customer that came in while I was there had smiles on their faces as they spoke with him. He just knows how to treat people. He’s awesome and great for the community who shops there! The only reason I’m not giving 5stars is because the first guy name starts with a J. He really needs to not work up front with customers. He stayed eyes glued to his phone the whole conversation as he continued to assure me the answer was no for my request. He didn’t even try. He didn’t ask any questions. Just no and let him get back to what he watching on his phone! Why man? Why stand behind the counter if you don’t want to be there?

One poor guy working the register with people lined up to check out. No other employees in the store..kind of a dingy place. If you're looking for customer service, this is probably not the place for you.

No matter the time of the day it’s always an issue. Can’t see how business is ran with only 1 commercial employee. Common sense will say to have minimum of 2 at the commercial desk and then have an attitude with me cause I can’t get my parts from them. Place will forever be a joke.

Wanted to buy windshield washer fluid today. Chose one the price tag on the shelf was showing $ 4.79. At cashier they requested more with no reasonable arguments. As I talked to the manager. She gave me very disappointing answers that I have never experienced before. Wasted my time and did not buy anything. Got very upset.will not go there anymore. Pay attention to price tags.
