I appreciate it his prompt communication. He quickly ordered the appraisal and title work and kept me informed of any potential issues so that we could address them ahead of closing. Communication is key between a lender and a realtor and he was excellent.

I called and spoke with Damian - wishing to refinance my primary residence, refinance an investment property, and purchase an investment property. We talked for a few minutes over a couple of scenarios - then he had to go for a meeting and said he could speak with me at 2.I got his voicemail when I called at 2.2 days later I called again and got him - he said he had no time to speak - I got the feeling he just wasn’t interested - so... nothing more to say.Edited to add: Assurance lost out on some good business: I refinanced 5 properties, took out a Heloc, and purchased a property within the space of 5 days within 2 months of his not getting back to me. I now own 11 properties and climbing.

Damian Cook handled our mortgage process. He was incredibly proactive. He would reach out to let me know what documents to to expect, and how every step of the mortgage process was progressing.
