Tre H. and Tammie exceeded their customer support and professional salesmanship. Took 3 days to purchase and upgrade my iPhone 11 to a 15 and my iPad to a 13" iPad Pro. This is a good thing since I live in the neighborhood and walked. I'm an elder (>75 years of age) and they treated me with respect and professalism. I know nothing about electronics and they helped transfer the updated instruments. They taught me that "it's easy" and they took the time to do something I could have done at home! Thank you.

unrelated to this specific location but ATT SUCKS. Do not get a phone plan with them. If you are ever facing any issues, it is impossible to get any help through the phone or online. Everytime you try to call them some AI answers and lists options and won’t let you speak to an actual agent no matter how much you ask. None of these options apply and I can’t simply speak to anyone. It will ask me for a pin or account number when I do not have one and that is the problem I am calling about. It will then hang up on you. Contrary to popular belief, AI cannot be used for everything, especially to replace customer service. I would save yourself the headache and get a phone plan with literally anyone else. Mint mobile, T mobile, xfinity, it doesn’t matter. Atleast you are able to talk to an actual person to resolve your problems.

I spent maybe two hours with Tammie at the AT&T store on Fifth Street in Atlanta today, going through an unexpectedly complicated transition to a new phone. Tammie went well beyond the effort I would expect anyone to expend on the many unexpected problems we encountered. She did an incredible job and I’m sure will earn any position and accolade she gets.

I went to get a new iPhone and had a terrible experience with “Tammy.” My mom and I waited over an hour, and when we asked about the phone we wanted, she said she’d check but never followed up. After 20 more minutes, I had to ask again, and she said they didn’t have the phone while unboxing other items. It was frustrating, and we left without a phone.

Update - AT&T may comment on negative reviews asking you to email them for ‘further’ assistance. But no, they will continue to do the ignoring. Go to the APPLE store.
🚩Avoid at all cost 🚩
Visited the store on 11/15 at 3:10pm. The store was empty. The associate was alone and at first, efficient. I told her I wanted a specific model with a few colors I had in mind and that 256GB was non- negotiable. The safe was finally unlocked after 15 mins, she came out and showed me the only phone they had in stock. She opened then box and proceeded to transfer the data from my old phone. Only 20 mins later, the phone had an error message showing that there wasn’t enough storage space. I flipped the box over only to be horrified - the storage was only 128GB. I showed it to her and she was understandably flustered. She called one of the managers on her personal phone, and decided to take the phone in the stock room. I could still hear the conversation though, and was shocked she told the manager that ‘the customer changed her mind and wants a different phone’. Once she sat back down, she tried to exchange the phone but informed me the restocking fee would be $50 + tax. I exclaimed no way I was paying that since she grabbed the wrong phone to begin with. She got on the phone with the managers again to figure out how to sort everything out. The whole ordeal took 3 hours. But this wasn’t over, the new phone was not activated. I had to call AT&T from home to have someone unlock the phone.
This is your warning to only visit the APPLE store for any iPhone related businesses. NIGHMARE. NEVER AGAIN.

I recently visited the 62 5th St NW, Atlanta, GA location to upgrade my girlfriend and my iPhones, and the experience was extremely frustrating and disorganized, largely due to the incompetence of an employee named Jerome.
First, I was told I needed to pay off the balance on our old phones to upgrade. While this didn’t seem correct, I complied and paid off both devices. Despite this, Jerome informed me that we still couldn’t upgrade. He then suggested adding two new lines temporarily, claiming they could be removed once the new phones arrived.
When the phones arrived, I returned to the store to have the extra lines removed. However, Jerome told me I needed to contact AT&T’s customer service. After calling, the representative explained that the store never should have added extra lines in the first place and that the issue needed to be fixed in-store.
I went back to the store, and the customer service agent spoke directly to Jerome, explaining the situation and advising him to contact his regional manager to resolve it. Jerome agreed while on the phone, but as soon as the call ended, he claimed the regional manager was usually unresponsive and without ever trying to reach out to the regional manager tried to convince me that keeping and paying for the extra lines wasn’t a big deal and then suggested I cancel insurance on my devices to lower my monthly payments instead. Ultimately, Jerome admitted he didn’t know how to fix the issue and told me to go elsewhere for help.
To make matters worse, Jerome also mishandled the trade-in process. When I initially brought in our old phones, he inspected them and assured me I’d receive the full advertised trade-in value of $1,000 per device. However, when I returned the phones, he silently processed the trade-in and handed me a receipt showing a value of only $350 per phone. When I confronted him, he claimed to have “forgotten” what we discussed and told me to call customer service again to fix it.
Now, I’m stuck with two unresolved issues:
1. I’m paying for two extra lines I don’t need.
2. I didn’t receive the full trade-in value for my old phones as promised.
This entire experience has been exhausting, time-consuming, and unprofessional. AT&T needs to address the lack of knowledge and customer service at this location, particularly with employees like Jerome. I hope no one else has to deal with such a poorly managed process.
Also from looking at other reviews now it seems this is not the first time this branch is doing something like this.
And I still need these issues fixed ASAP!!
I will be going to the Atlantic location in a few days, hopefully they are able to help resolve this and I will update my review on their google account.
