I would like to start off by stating Bell Collier company within its entirety is very disgusting and very unemphatic. We had a fire that occurred on July 27, 2024. Basically we were
punish for what a neighbor or his friend did and ever since this took place Bell Collier has been very unkind to the residents. The company had the remaining residents waiting and thinking that we were going to get our belongings back after the fire. Haven’t received anything since July they sent a statement via mail on last week stating that they are not able to salvageable anything in my apartment. Which is a lie my belongings were still inside a brown move box due to I had just move into the complex. So I know for-sure nothing was damage. I even spoke with Lizzie or Mitzi from corporate she stated to me that nothing was really damage in my unit the only issue I had in my unit is I had a little water damage inside my unit. They even went on to say what would you like out your apartment? I proceed to give them a listed of items that I never received. Back in August Bell Collier sent an email stating to the residents that some moving company name “ Metro Content” were to move our belongings. Next they stated that during the day of demolition we could retrieve our belongings. I sent emails expressing my gratitude that some valuable sentimental things was in my apartment that belong to some that was deceased. Bell Collier never reach back out whatsoever. I will never recommend this company to any of my colleagues or family and friends. They have treated the residents here very poorly. Never thought in a million years they would treat there residents this way.

This has been MY WORST experience renting an apartment I’ve ever had. Literally takes the leasing office MONTHS to respond to simple maintenance requests and when the lack of communication from management is BEYOND SHOCKING. Avoid at all costs. Literally the only thing that I enjoy about this complex is the location. Take your money elsewhere.

*****update heard from the restoration company that the owner is trying to sell the property… super on brand.
It’s extremely unsafe to consistently have fake fire alarms. Most people don’t even exit the building because of how consistent the fake alarms happen. The management team HAS to get the fire alarm situation under control. This is literally YOUR JOB. Much of people’s complaint that happen, aren’t in managements control. You cannot stop vandalism or irresponsible tenants. But the fire alarm situation is consistent and it’s outrageous.

You should not be even advertising this apartment complex, if you can’t help the people get back to their belongings or offer them a place in one of your other Bell Apartments in Atlanta.
This advertisement should be taken off the apps on apartments yo live in. You need to be helping these people. ‼️

Criminal landlord and management. Holding tenants belongings and their entire livelihood hostage after a devastating fire. These people should be thrown in jail

Whoever had and attended this party must be jailed and sued for endangering lives and harming properties.
A rooftop grill used illegally by a resident caused this fire.

Bell Collier Village was the worst thing that could’ve happened to BERKSHIRE HOWELL MILL. The ORIGINAL apartment complex. This property completely declined when they took over. The garage gate was always open, elevator fob did not work… so homeless people were able to access the building, fire alarm went off CONSTANTLY, online rent portal was broken so I had to pay in person every month, leaks and mold in some of the units…I absolutely loved my apt and the location but despised the property management. Now, we are all suffering from the after math of a terrible fire. Property management isn’t doing anything to support. We can’t get our personal items or the cars we had parked in the garage. Communication has been poor and they have been negligent. It saddens me because I loved living in the community.

Not only does there need to be lawsuits for the fire because of how frequent the fire alarms went off falsely, people started to not even pay attention to them. People barely made it out because of so. Bell collier is requesting the tenants still pay their rent for the month after this tragedy. People lost everything. Also the fire department mentioned the reason the fire spread way too fast was because the build of the building. The brick was not even real brick it was a decoy which is why it spread so fast and took so long to control it. It’s unfortunate they are not taking responsibility or taking care of the tenants that suffered from this down to not even being allowed to retrieve their vehicles. But are sending out 250$ vouchers…… And STILL requesting rent payments. I would sue them expeditiously.

I was deceived by the tour…here’s just some items to express how I was deceived:
1. Parking deck door was broken for about a month or two. Breaks often though. Was told this is not an issue in my tour, was the reason for me picking the place in the first place (covered parking/ secure entry) leads me to my next point
2. My car was broken into 3 times.(3rd time 7/25/24). The deductible was so high that it didn’t make sense to do a claim. Cameras “may” have footage or they will just be plain broken. What a joke. Prescription sunglasses and $20 bucks cash was taken. Along with a coat that was taken on Christmas Eve
3. Pool parties are loud sometimes, had one last till 11/12 AM in the evening. Fight almost broke out. Music plays loud during the day which is cool, but at 11 PM on a Tuesday is outta pocket.
4. Was stuck in the elevator. Dropped one floor. Called emergency phone to get out. If you want, you can call the leasing office to verify, a call was made in that elevator. HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED SINCE MARCH 24th, 2024. Elevators consistently broken. Have to walk around to find a working one.
5. Trash rooms do not function, thankfully the valet is good. But it was nice having the option in the weekends when they don’t come.
6. Nasty floors: Pressure washing was performed to floors 1-3, but the 4th and 5th floor was left untouched ( for the duration of my lease, i have avoided gum, feces etc…)
7. Not all amenities work as described in apartment bio. Grilling stations/ peloton
8. RANDOM FIRE ALARMS ? ?: be prepared for you and your loved ones to wake up to the worst sound in history. Also it will be 3 AM in the morning.
9. Make sure you know which unit you are signing up for. I thought i was getting a unit the same as the display unit (signed up for the exact floor plan), but received an ADA apartment ( bars everywhere in bathroom, less cabinet space.) I don’t discriminate but just wanted to make you all aware.
10. Probably the most annoying, no service in parking deck and 1st floor. It is such a hassle trying to describe the directions. It makes it even worst when you can’t call the person. So you’re walking around hoping you see their car so you can tell them down.
I don’t want to hear “please reach out so we can further look into the issue”. It’s a bunch of jibber just to get the target off their back. I have listed many issues that residents consistently complain about. For an extra $100 bucks, move to the BRAND NEW units next door.

Bell collier is a great building to live in but the building manager is rude and he never really there he not for the residents ask the residents yourself and see. The building do not accept people who do not live in the country, which is silly because as long as you have the proper documentation and con show that rent can be made should be enough. Millworks, Willow west apartments accept foreigners, Brandon is not a good fit because he is arrogant and he do not listen. Customer service and respect is important and he lacks in it . Building maintenance workers are the best. Brandon need to go back to school for dealing with international people

Living at Bell Collier was an incredibly frustrating experience, particularly due to their complete disregard for financial responsibility and fairness. Despite the fact that we are good tenants, the management failed to reimburse us for a significant amount for seven months long, yet we are still waiting.
What made the situation worse was the differential treatment we received after moving out. It was clear that once we were no longer tenants, their willingness to address our concerns or provide the owed reimbursement drastically declined. This is a poor reflection of their customer service and commitment to their residents.
In summary, Bell Collier has shown a lack of professionalism and fairness. Their inability to fulfill their financial obligations, coupled with their discriminatory treatment of former tenants, makes this a place I would not recommend to anyone.

When you move out, record videos of the condition of your apartment, consult with lawyers, get ready for random bills, and don’t expect to receive your deposit back soon. Glad we moved.

Update: I hate to change my review but the noise has become an unmanageable situation here. For the last 2-3 weeks there's been too many parties every single day in the common areas and I'm fed up.
The loud music and yelling would be fine if it stopped at 10:30 pm but in some cases the parties last all the way to 1 a.m or later during weekdays. At this point I sleep with a noise cancellation headset that still doesn't cover the noise the other tenants make. The lack of respect is incredible considering they also leave trash and food.
I still think management does good where they can and the maintenance crew is awesome.
Original review: Very happy with my apartment, management is active over email and they also inform of maintenance beforehand.

I only gave this place 5 stars because of Alicia and Jay and Michelle. Awesome folks, very approachable and helpful. Can definitely improve some small things but not a bad place to live.
