Employers don't get to experience their own employees like we do. This past Saturday my best friend and I had an AMAZING "fragrance consultation" with Malik Singleton. Not only is Malik tall, beautiful and fashionably correct the knowledge shared about fragrances were endless. Not only did Malik feed us with the contents of each scent he painted a vivid picture using scenarios and aroma reactions of other people. Malik shared pairing suggestions and explained how the scents complimented one another. Only thing I was missing was a bottle of red wine, heck I'm sure Malik could have told us which wine paired good with each fragrance! LOL. He was not pushing for a sell he wanted us to understand and be in love with our decision. He wanted to make sure our scent tickled and kissed the nose hairs of everyone we encounter. That is the type of quality experience that make you go back for and tell everyone about. Malik is "The Nose" of Bloomingdales in Lenox Square! Personality and energy UNMATCHED. So, Ladies and Gents when you want a fragrance experience and not just a "popular" scent go have an "MSE" Malik Singleton Experience. Fragrances are not all about what's hot it's about how you can take it and make it your own. Remember you can't say the "Malik" without the "Singleton" and when you see and meet Malik you won't ever want to hear about fragrances from anyone else! Shout out to the entire fragrance department in Bloomingdale's they were all full of smiles and joy Saturday.

Stylist was helpful and told me he loved how I made leg warmers out of my balmain jeans. I felt seen and appreciated. Fragrance dept HAD THE WHOLE WORLD bought some lube platform limited edition cross & Badgley Mischka flip-flops love it there!!!

I don't like shopping, but this Bloomingdale's has always made it bearable, even pleasant. We registered here for our wedding and had a wonderful experience, and have kept returning ever since with the same result every time. Would definitely recommend!

Today i went to purchase a cologne from Le Labo and was helped by the lovely Alana Brown! She was great and so insightful. Shasha Phillip also helped me at the byredo counter and she was lovely! She helped me smell scents while giving her personal experience with it. Malik at the creed counter was the icing on the cake with his whitty humor!

I purchased the Vera Wang Wedgwood Infinity photo frame and I wanted to be assured it was just exactly what I was looking for. This was for my 1st Granddaughter’s Engagement gift so it had to be special.She went over all the details for me even when I inquired about the gift wrapping ( as I wanted everything perfect) She assured me I would be happy and that it would be packed carefully and thoughtful for transport not to be broken or torn.If allowed I would like to say her name was Catherine as she is an asset to your store as well as the company. She was extremely helpful and seemed genuine in her eagerness to help me .She expressed excitement for my family’s happy event. Which by the way… My gift was embraced by the couple and admired by all in attendance. So, I felt compelled to Thank Catherine and Bloomingdale’s as a whole.

Friendly staff. They messed up my online order but staff quickly assisted upon my arrival. They seem to usually be pretty well stocked as well.

Absolutely LOVED these fragrances, especially the MANCERA INSTANT CRUSH. Representative FAIMY (spell check) was the absolute BEST. She was super professional and she engaged with her customers. I was happy that she came over to assist me after the one that kinda looks foreign left me hanging, she didn't say excuse me or I'll be right back with you... NOTHING. FAIMY will be my go to person when I visit again.

This review is going to be based on professionalism. So it begins with being called to set up an interview. The person that called was Amber Trobridge to set an interview with Thomas Hunt. I replied and she scheduled my interview. I met with Thomas Hunt who conducted my interview it was very causal and laid back. Thomas said he wanted to make a decision with in the next two weeks for the position. So weeks go by and I didn't hear anything. Normally if a company decides to move in a different direction you receive a courtesy letter letting you know. I never heard from them again. I figured ok they didn't go with me until I seen a missed call from a Georgia number which is unusual sense I just moved here. So i checked my voicemails and seen the one from Bloomingdale's. However it was the original one so a mistake on my part. So I called Amber back to with my information and instead of being professional and telling me I made a mistake told me to hold on. So Amber put me on permanent hold and never came back. So I called back and she sent me straight to voice mail. I understand I was mistaken but be professional and politely tell me I was mistaken that's what happened instead of the immature behavior. I'm a customer for Bloomingdale's as well so I deserve to be treated politely and professionally as well. We are all adults. So still not know my mistake because Amber isn't mature enough to simple address the issue and say you made a mistake I email her. Amber still didn't reply. Seriously I'm an adult just tell me your mistaken we went a different direction case closed. We are adults not children. Anyways Amber Trobridge at Bloomingdale's in Atlanta be more professional remember we are customers as well and that looks bad on your company being unprofessional.

The customer service here is horrible. DONT GO TO THE NARS SECTION. NEVER GIVE THEM BUISNESS! Me and my friend were looking at mascara and got screamed at fromhalf way across the store. not only was the worker screaming but she told us basically not to touch the mascara in such a rude tone that I was embarrassed for me and her.

This is a complaint about associates Dominique Kelly and Goergann Golden.I had the most traumatic experience today on 1/13/2023 at the Bloomingdales Charlotte Tilbury counter inside of Lenox mall. I walked in and politely said hello to the sales associate Dominique Kelly who was putting makeup on a customer's face. I stood there for a while and she never greeted me back or even acknowledged my presence so I walked away to find another sales associate. There were no sales associates present at the 3 other beauty counters in the vicinity so I decided to go back to Dominique Kelly. I said Hello again and 30 seconds later she turned around and finally greeted me. She said she would help me in a second. I said no problem because she was preoccupied with another customer. A few minutes later after she was done with the other customer she came over and asked how she could help. I told her I wanted to return an item and get a refund but she advised me I would only be able to swap it for another item. I looked around and decided I would get the Charlotte Tilbury Contour wand but their darkest contour shade was not dark enough for my skin complexion so I asked if there was another shade darker and she said no. This made me feel uncomfortable supporting/buying products from a company that didn’t cater to my skin tone. I decided that I no longer wanted their products. I then asked Dominique Kelly if I could receive store credit of any kind and she said no it’s against the return policy. I looked online but I couldn’t find the return policy so I asked Dominique if she had a physical copy of the return policy maybe on a receipt or anywhere posted in the store. She said she didn’t have the return policy anywhere that I could read it and that I had to take her word for it. This was very odd to me because the return policy is usually printed on the back of the receipt which she could print out and show me. Nonetheless I asked to speak with the manager of the beauty department and she brought over another associate by the name of Goergeann Golden, she came over with a discourteous hostile attitude. I asked Goergeann if she was the manager for the makeup department and she said “yes I am one of the managers” . I asked her if she could pull up the store return policy so I can read it but she told me she couldn’t. I then asked her for the customer service number and she said that “ Bloomindales doesn’t have a customer service department or phone number” . She told me that because of covid regulations I am not able to return the product for store credit. This is really outrageous to me because it is 2023 and the store is still operating by covid guidelines. Goergeann walked off and I googled Bloomingdales customer service department and the top search provided me with a phone number. I asked Dominique was that the customer service number that you told me you couldn’t provide me with and she said “Yes but we don’t have one”. I felt uncomfortable so I decided to leave. The service I received from Dominique and Goergeann lacked professionalism and was very discriminatory.
