I tried the muscle man burrito, which was a cool concept that didn’t land with me unfortunately. The quality was alright, but I would definitely recommend just getting a poke bowl instead as the burritos are extremely expensive. Overall not a bad poke spot.

The bowl skimps on Shoyu dressing n I was offered siracha for the poke bowl lettuce when I requested Shoyu dressing.

The food was great, I had the tonkotsu ramen. I don't think I'll go back though, this was my first time being served ramen in a plastic bowl. It was served that way regardless of if you ate there or took it to-go, and looking around the restaurant it was just sad knowing alllllll those bowls are going in the garbage. Crazy amount of waste that I don't want to support monetarily.

The sushi bowl was fine. The portion was too small. They put it in a bowl and only filled 1/3 of the bowl. They only have one size (if you're wondering). Thought we'd try this place out. I will never stray from my poke place near home (downtown decatur) again lol.

So good. I come here a lot and it never misses. Poke bowls and burritos are amazing every time.

Busy day but they were really bang out the food. We loved both poke bowls.

Love the Tonkotsu and Spicy Pork Ramens, the soy eggs are cooked on point.

Vegan bowl not as described. Where are my cherry tomatoes or my cucumber salad? Disappointed.

Went on a Wednesday afternoon for dinner. We were warmly greeted by the cashier also waitress and she explained the menu to us very well.I got the Spicy Pork Ramen and made it into a combo with 4pc takoyaki and soda. I highly enjoyed the takoyaki. It had a great ratio of batter to octopus but a little high on the batter side, which I enjoyed. The toppings added a great kick as well. For my ramen, I was disappointed to not find any pork belly but rather minced pork instead. Other than that, the soup was alright and the ramen was cooked well. Also pictured. My friend got the Muscle Man Burrito and really enjoyed it.

Visiting Atlanta, was in the Emory Point neighborhood today (Sunday).I was hungry at 1pm, and hadn't eaten (a good) breakfast. I intended to eat out at the Chick'nCone restaurant, which is literally right across from the BoruBoru shop. Unfortunately, Chick'nCone -- which I wanted to go to -- has weird store hours, and weirder still on Sundays (they open at 2pm, probably due to church or something). So, I decided to stop by at the BoruBoru Ramen/Sushi shop, since it was open and the other shop was not.I mentioned that it was my first time at the place, and the server lady recommended I try the Muscle Man, which comes with a whole slew of various protein. I sorely needed protein, and I like that a lot of their menu options have some form or another of good solid protein.I went with the Muscle Man (as a burrito) as that seemed to check all the boxes, and seemed to have the most variety of protein. I got it with sushi rice, so the burrito was actually wrapped in a black, thin layer of sushi instead of the traditional bread, which was pretty neat. The only minus was the price, it was 2-3$ more expensive than normal, at around 15$ or so.Ate at a table inside. There was no one else at the shop at the time I came by, so I had free reign on selection of seating. I chose a four-seater table closer to the window. The burrito I ordered was brought to me. It came with raw fish -- salmon & tuna -- as well as scallion and cooked chicken for variety of protein. It also came with avocado, jalapeños, and cucumber, which I thought was a nice bonus, and made for an interesting combo and mix of flavors. The cucumber made it less dry and not as spicy, and I liked the addition.Overall, the food was nice, and the meat/protein tasted good especially with the rice and the sushi layer. It was nothing exceptional, but it was filling for a brunch, and provided a solid variety of protein. Overall, food was good and sufficiently tasty, and would recommend others to check this place out.
