I have been using Briarcliff Framing for more than ten years. The ownership of this store has recently changed and with it the commitment to producing a quality product. I recently spent almost $700 dollars to frame an original watercolor as a gift to my spouse for Christmas. I received the framed picture and it was a disaster. The watercolor was ruined and wrinkled. I complained and asked to speak to the owner. Instead an associate from the store called me back. I went back into the store today with the picture and again complained and requested a complete refund of the framing. The associate (not the owner) called the owner who proposed a 50% refund and that I could keep the picture. The watercolor is ruined and does look suitable to be put up in our homeI am now out not only the price of the framing but also the art work. I would strongly recommend that if you have original artwork you find another framing shop.Equally important, the new owner is apparently unwilling to talk directly with her customers about unsatisfactory work product.In summary, poor quality framing and virtually non-existent customer service. If it were possible I would give this store negative stars. Look elsewhere this is not the same high quality store it once was.

High quality materials and custom framing services from an experienced, knowledgeable staff. They canvas art here as well. They did an outstanding job framing my triptych painting.

Have done business with these folks for years. Always nice. Always a great framing job. Always wonderful help choosing the right frame, etc. I would not go anywhere else.

I have been using Briarcliff Frame for more than ten years. Unfortunately, the shop has changed ownership and the new ownership does not pay the same level of attention to providing high quality framing. I recently spent more almost $700 to custom frame an original watercolor. The watercolor is ruined and was framed with wrinkles in the watercolor. As framed, it is so bad I cannot display this original artwork in my home. I contacted the store about the poor quality of the framing and requested that the owner call me to discuss. But, instead of calling me directly, the owner decided not to call me and delegated the task to an associate. Today, I took the picture back to the shop and again complained. I requested a full refund of the cost of the framing but did not demand that the owner also pay for the damaged original artwork. The associate in the store apparently contacted the owner who proposed that they refund 50% of the price of the framing and they would generously allow me to keep the poorly framed artwork. This was intended as a gift for my wife. I told the associate that anything less than a full refund would not be satisfactory. The associate told me I could call the owner on Monday to discuss - no offer for the owner to call me to discuss the situation. This is the same owner who previously refused to call me. Regrettably it appears my only recourse will be to take them to small claims court to recover the cost of the framing and the original artwork. So be it - I tried to resolve this issue with the owner for a reasonable amount. Now, she will likely have to pay much more than if she had just addressed the situation in full recognition that they damaged the artwork which is now worthless to me. If you have original or one of a kind artwork find another shop. Also, to those of you who have shopped at Briarcliff for many years - beware this is not the same store it once was. The current store management apparently does not value long time customers, does not care about the quality of their work product and can't handle even the basics of customer service. In short: 1. Poor workmanship 2. Failure to admit the framing was not done correctly; and 3. Abysmal customer service with an absentee owner who can't be bothered to speak with a long term customer about a framing job that was indisputably bad. I recommend finding another framing shop - the new version of Briarcliff Framing is a poor facsimile of the original store.

I've used Briarcliff Frame 3 times this year to frame baseball jerseys. I've been very happy with the experience and would highly recommend them for people looking to get items framed. The owners and staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Briarcliff Frame has many different customization options so you can personalize the glass type, style, color, and design of your frame. They offer delivery options. They insure that you are 100% satisfied in the end product. For one of my framed jerseys, I wanted to make a modification and they replaced the entire frame free of charge to make sure I was satisfied. They are a small business, and it shows in their excellent customer service, attention to detail, and friendliness.

I rarely leave a review but I have to say that I have had an incredible experience buying frames for several pieces of art. The store has changed a lot & as a longtime customer it has changed for the better! They’ve opened up the store more to make it look bigger & have more of a variety from frames to handmade wooden plates & bowls & pottery. The staff have been incredibly helpful in helping me pick out frames as well as great discounts on several pieces! They spent all the time I needed & are super friendly. Obviously I highly recommend this frame store!

The team at Briarcliff Frame shop were amazing. We brought in a concert poster with unique colors and they had *just* the frame to bring out the colors. It took 3-4 weeks to get the piece back and we were thrilled with the outcome.
