Brown's Mill Golf Course is a very surprising and fun municipal course to play, with lots of cool holes. It is a great community course and a true cultural breeding ground, welcoming players of all ages. The fairways are coming in, the greens are fast, firm, and roll very well, and the bunkers are very well kept with soft, powdery sand. It is a very sandy course overall. As a city course, it is well maintained, offers great value, and has a friendly staff. It is conveniently located less than 15 minutes from the airport, making it easy to play before or after a flight, with views of planes coming in silently above the treetops. Some notes are that the tee boxes need work, there is no food beverage service, and pace of play can sometimes be a concern without a starter. However, it remains a really good and somewhat challenging course that many look forward to playing again.
