I had a dead battery right before rushing to work on a Monday morning. The staff at Buckhead Import were incredibly helpful. Jason walked to my garage, jump-started my car, took it to their shop, and replaced the battery in less than an hour. If you live in the Buckhead area, there is no need to go anywhere else. Their service is top-notch.

Outstanding! We live in apartments across from them. My car did not start and I walked over requesting help to jump start it. Jason not only walked back with me to jump start my car but also helped charge the battery fully at no cost at all. They are beyond exceptional in their service and professionalism. I trust them fully.

I have had my car at Buckhead Imports a couple times. The first time, they delivered as promised. They also uncovered an expensive problem with my Mercedes. They gave me a short-term repair option that allowed me to sell the car without incurring an additional $8,000 in repair costs. The second time, I brought my wife's MB to replace a bulb (surprisingly a difficult task). They replaced the bulb and didn't charge me for either the bulb or labor (it took a 1/2 hour to complete). They focus on building a loyal client base.

There were some good things and some not so good things to this experience. Context: Brought my car in on the 12th of February wanting my shocks to be replaced and a headlight replaced. They explained that the thrust arms need to be fixed before doing the shocks and that they also found an oil leak. The oil sensor had been saying the oil was low for about a month before that. Every time I checked the dipstick, it looked adequately filled. Perhaps it wasn't a huge leak. I asked them to fix that and do the thrust arms repair. They did both. Not Good Things: My car wasn't ready on the day they said it would be and not the day after either. Because the day after was a Friday, I didn't have it for the entire weekend. I run a lot of errands on the weekend - this was a big negative for me. I'd imagine that isn't the easiest thing to judge for a mechanic shop, but needing two extra days is consequential. I'd rather be told a longer time and budget for that. Again, not a huge deal, but something to consider. Maybe budget a couple of extra days for your repair if you end up bringing your car here. My cabin smelled like oil once I started driving it and after about five days I saw smoke coming out of the front hood of my car and smoke was coming into the cabin through the vents. I saw a good amount of oil below my engine and some oil leaking near the oil cap. I figured the oil was burning slowly. Given one of the line items on my invoice said "clean all oil affected areas" I was a little put off that they didn't clean the pooled oil. It was a fair amount of oil. Good Things: I took it in the next day and explained the problems to the owner. He had gone with me for a short drive after the initial repair because I wanted to show him something during the drive to ask him if it was shock-related and he was nice enough to take a few minutes to ride along at the end of the day. He didn't have to do that, but he did, and that was a nice gesture. He asked to keep the car for about forty-five minutes to replace the old oil cap that was leaking some oil near the top of the engine and clean the remaining oil affected areas. He didn't charge me for the oil cap and o-ring replacement nor the cleaning since it was missed the first time and even replaced some marker light bulbs for free. Verdict: The owner resolved the problem they initially missed in a timely fashion and didn't charge me extra for it or try to pass the blame onto me. We all make mistakes or miss things, myself included. All I can ask for is being willing to resolve the issue and to be fair about it. That's what happened.

I 100% recommend Buckhead Imports. I've gotten one oil change and dealt with Chuck. I am going back for another oil change soon. Chuck is very honest and friendly. They don't try to oversell you and they're very flexible and easy to work with. Their prices are also very reasonable compared to other luxury auto shops.

Thanks very much to Buckhead Imports - Jason and Liam for providing quick assistance regarding a flat tire I had even though I was not a customer of theirs. My experience with Buckhead Imports was on Nov 7, 2023: On my way to the office, I had a flat tire. The car jack failed. I contacted my insurance company as well as towing companies/dealers located in the area but all said it would be 2 hours+ wait time. A passerby said Buckhead Imports was nearby (less than 10 min walk). I immediately went to Buckhead imports and Jason and Liam provided immediate assistance - no charge. I drove with Liam to my car where he replaced the damage tire with the spare. Jason and Liam were very friendly - they went above/beyond and I highly recommend their services.

VERY capable licensed mechanics. I trusted my BMW M Coupe and 135i to these guys. They did both mechanical and an interior reinstall.

I won't be going back, ever. It was an attempt at a more convenient place than Global BMW. I had Two experiences at Buckhead Imports:1. First time experience was not great; 3 stars. Got my car back and it was not functional after I left and was en route for my appointment, so I did not have time to take it back. I don't think they test drove it. Turns out they must have broken the charge pipe while performing the other repair. To their credit, they fixed it and made it right at their own cost. They did do the work in the time that they quoted (that is 3* service in my mind because it they should be able to predict how long the work will take; it's part of their core business understanding). They also replaced a parking lamp bulb as a courtesy, citing it was a $2 bulb and no big deal (keep reading part 2 for more of this detail). They recommended a timing chain replacement as preventative maintenance. I didn't have the $4,500 for that work; the cost of which is so highly largely due to BMW poor design.2. Second experience was electrical; radio, bluetooth, and crusie control issues (and another pesky parking bulb, probably the other side because that's how these work). $250 for diagnosis, which is less than Global, but at least Global would apply that cost to the work if done at their shop. The charge went up to $405 after I was told they needed to inspect the COMM box in the trunk; i thought the original diagnostic cost should have covered that. (in case you didn't know, access to the comm box only requires pulling out the inside trunk cover that just sits in the back with zero attachment). Diagnosis was wiring harness for the cruise control and replacement of the comm box. They also quoted $12 for a bulb and $92 in labor for that, and nothing for the other two error codes. +350 labor to replace the comm box (it's held in by four screws and has 4-5 plug ins; 30 min effort max). their parts mark up is at least 25%. When I noted i was on a budget and wanted them to just code the box for me after i replaced it myself, they declined the work. This is when Billy got snooty and "pass" was his only reply to my request. I might have mentioned that I was going to sell my car, so maybe they thought this was a last ditch effort to make any money on me. On top of that, it feels like i was being unfairly charged because they were trying to make up from their loss from their error on the first visit. On top of this, there are two other error codes that they didn't even address. One looks like a fuel tank ventilation issue and the other looks like a temperature issue (probably unplugged sensor)Conclusion: You won't save anything if you want an alternate to a dealer shop, and they are certainly not friendly to those of us who can do a lot of this ourselves. I understand that coding a new comm box is something I need help to execute. Even if I end up keeping this for a little while longer, i won't be going back.

The Porsche dealer said I needed a 40,000 mile transmission service even though my car is only 5 years old with 24,000 miles. The Certified Porsche Techs at Buckhead Imports took a look at it and said no need, everything is fine. They probably saved me $1,000 at least.Thank you Jason and Billy! These guys are top notch and honest as the day is long.

Have been going to Buckhead Imports for years and consistently get great service from real pros. Most recently, the team went way above and beyond diagnosing and fixing a really difficult wiring and communication issue in my 12 year old Mercedes e550. I just feel comfortable with them!
