I was suspicious because of all the negative reviews. They definitely lived up to their awful reputation. Jessica was exceptionally rude and should not be working in customer service imho.

my budget truck broke down after 1-hr. we waited just over 23 hours to get a replacement truck, which caused a lot of added expenses and missed work. a bad fuel pump was the cause. i was in the left lane on 85n when the gas pedal stopped working, so it was quite dangerous. i was able to get to the shoulder where we sat for ~4 hrs until the tow truck came; it was a very dangerous place to be sitting that long. we were told nothing could be done until the morning, so we got a hotel next to where the truck was towed and bought a lock for the truck since it had all of my belongings in it. i rented the truck for a one-way trip from atlanta to pittsburgh. we called budget multiple times for updates because they did not initiate contact. when they finally got us on our way the next day, budget told us we would not be given an extra day with the truck even though they had spent just under a day getting us a replacement. we also had to hire new movers because our original movers were no longer available. budget was negligent during this process and provided us with a dangerous truck.

If I could give a place negative stars... I would. I reserved an SUV online on March 6th, submitted all info, received confirmation and everything.. get an uber all the way to this location.. for the Budget employee to walk outside and greet me with “I don’t know why you’re here, we don’t got no cars”. I reply “Well I made a reservation online and got confirmation”. To this he responded, “well that’s not my problem” -with a very rude and aggressive attitude. I have personally worked in customer service for over 12 years, and I’ve learned that not everyone is meant to work in the customer service industry. My advice for this guy is to find a different job, because I’m sure I’m not the only person who will NEVER use Budget again due to his attitude.

I would rate no stars for this place. We are moving today and 1 hour prior to picking up our truck, they called us and said our truck has been canceled d/t over booking. We went into the store and they did not even apologize. Acted as if this was a normal part of their costumer service - I would not use this company if I were you. 0 stars!

Worst rental location I have ever had the misfortune to have to rent from. We made a reservation for 8am pickup, and attempted to pick up the rental truck the afternoon before the original reservation date. When we arrived the clerk was rude, short, and very insufficient. There were clearly 3+ trucks of the 16 footers sitting in the parking lot, but the clerk said it was impossible for us to pick the truck up early because they did not have enough trucks available, despite more than 3 in the parking lot. When we arrived at 8am the next morning, the clerk who was supposed to work called out and the next available employee to staff the location with was roughly 30-45 minutes away, causing us to be unable to pick up the truck until 30-45 minutes after our scheduled pick up time.

I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! BEWARE!! I booked a standard SUV for 9 days at this location to pick up at 8AM on Saturday morning. I went exactly at 8AM and I was the first customer at the store to pickup. The person at front desk took her own time to attend me and finally said that there is no Standard SUV available but she can offer Minivan without additional charge. In the meantime there was another customer came inside and standing behind me to return his rental car. She immediately told me that the person behind me returning SUV and I can take that. I went and inspected the car and noticed that the car interior is not clean and I am going to travel with 1 year old baby. She asked someone to wash the car and that person went and washed exterior in 5 minutes when I complain about interior. She started threatening me to take unclean car or I will cancel your booking. She is horrible person that I have ever experience. I called customer service and complained but no of use. I had to finally take Minivan by paying additional charge for 9 days. I originally planned to start my LONG trip at 8:30AM but I had to start at 11AM after all the mess and left the store at 10AM.

Horrible service. Even though I filled up the truck immediately before turning it in and they charged me $30 for a tank fill up because "it was a hair to the left". When I asked for the manager to check he came out and agreed that the tank wasn't full and gave me the $30 charge. Picture evidence of what the tank looked like when I turned it in. What a joke.

Kind and generous service! Just returned a 16 foot truck on a Sunday and was immediately greeted by Cari who graciously helped direct me into a parking slot at this location. While checking the fuel she noted the gauge Was not on the “F†for full and cautioned me that I would be penalized if it was not full. I had just stopped a ½ mile away and thought I had topped it off when the pump at the QuikTrip would not allow me to add any more gas. Cari offered to drive the truck to any station it's me to verify that it was full. We drove to the closest Shell and I was able to add another $15 dollars of gas. I'll cannot understand why the pump at the CITGO the night before and the QuikTrip both stopped almost 5 gallons shy of full. Regardless thank to Cari's kindness and help I avoided a surcharge for fuel. Both Cari and the service tech working this Sunday could not have been more kind and helpful.

Apologies in advance for the long rant- This is the worst rental truck experience I've ever had, and I've rented from many companies in many states during my travel positions! FYI: When you're using a debit card they will ask for you to email them your bank statement and a form of some bill payment (ex: electric bill) to confirm your identity. I think this is very suspicious. I understand viewing this information from my phone but you want me to email this information for you to print a copy?! My bank does not allow me to share or forward this information from a cellphone, as it is confidential. The woman tells me, "no one else had a problem." Another thing is I have an out of state license, the woman asked for more information due to me having an out of state license. So for me to rent a truck I have to prove that I am a Georgia resident, this makes no sense whatsoever! I'm from out of state!!! So much hassle FOR A $30 TRUCK RENTAL WITH AN OUT OF STATE LICENSE AND A DEBIT CARD!!! As if the company doesn't trust out of state customers. She asked for Information that I don't carry with me, especially when I only plan to RENT A $30 TRUCK FOR 3 HOURS!!! I was really upset. After 30 minutes of getting nowhere she tells me if I have a credit card I don't need any of the paperwork she stated before and the only requirement is a $500 deposit! No! I refuse to use my credit card at this sketchy place and I also refuse to pay you or support this business! $500 deposit for a $30 truck! Are they crazy! I walked out and I searched rental companies before I left their parking lot, found the Uhaul around the corner behind Sams Club to reserve the Uhaul, walked inside Uhaul, paid for the Uhaul, drove away in the Uhaul. BOOM! That was the rental truck experience I expected to have at Budget! The experience at Budget was truly unnecessary and uncalled for, I truly believe they are scammers and I will be reporting them to the BBB.

Confused, Expensive, Low Quality - Renting the trucks takes several hours. My 14 foot truck cost 130$ for 1 day in town. They overcharged me by $30 and I only noticed because I read through the final bill which I had to call to receive...terrible service, don't wast your time.

Horrible customer service!! I've used Budget many times. I'm from PA but this particular location I will not be returning. You can't get anyone on the phone. I had an issue with the vehicle and I had to drive all the way to location to get assistance! I walk in no one is in the front and I can over hear the attendant talking on the phone to his wife or whomever about nothing! Meanwhile I've been calling none stop! They say they are independently owned well from the reviews it doesn't seem they have any business in the customer service business!
