The park is great for jogging, dog walking, and enjoying fresh air. There is a playground with new equipment, a pool, sports fields, a bike track, basketball courts, and tennis courts. The park also has walking paths and plenty of family-friendly places to eat nearby. The surrounding neighborhood is friendly and vibrant with cute cafes and shops. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends. The park is a great place to bring family and kids to hang out and play. It has a lively and well-kept playground, and the neighborhood has a warm and welcoming vibe. The park is conveniently located near fun spots, making it easy to pair a visit with a broader day of exploring. Candler Park is a charming oasis of community and calm, and it's a great place to enjoy nature within the city.
Candler Park is AWESOME!!! It is even shaded with overhead tarps on about 65% of the play area.

BearBaer pack rested here for an evening. Despite our howls, at a couple leashed dog walks around the park, neighbors here were forgiving and accommodating. We rested feeling safe.
