Carter's partners with Comenity Capital Bank for their store credit card. This Carter's store card commits theft/fraud by way of undisclosed late fees and interest charges, poor/slow and non-existing customer service, you name it. Carter's should break ties with this financial institute. Bad news.

Will never shop at Carters again just because I do not like nor agree with their return policy. I returned clothes with tags and store will not give you store credit/gift card! To exchange your items you have to shop the same day you go into the store. I have a 3month old & anyone with a baby understands how limited your time is. Just wanted a gift card & didn’t think it was going to be that difficult. Carter’s has a lot of competition out here. I would highly recommend corporate changing their ridiculous return policy.

I love the company but the pay needs to inflate when regular prices go upThere is no reason as a starting manager I should be getting $12 a hour when McDonald's employees are making $15. Without the hassle of managing other people.

I applied several times to work at Carter's since 2017. I finally got called back this year and SEVEN interviews later, I didn't hear anything from anyone for a little over a month. I reached out to human resources and one of the interviewers and heard nothing. I finally reached out to the creative director and she gave a lame apology and HR finally contacted me to follow but I declined because by then I was over it and they only reached out bc I sent the director that nasty email. I felt rejected and furious when the least that could have been done was to reach out to let me know that I didn't get the job instead of waiting around for almost two months. After having endured what I did last year during the pandemic, I was miserable. Never again.

I’d give them less if I could. My daughter and I tried to go into a Carter’s in the Johnson City Mall (Johnson City,TN). We were barely in the door when we were questioned about masks. The Mask mandate has been lifted and there is a Vaccine being distributed world wide. I explained to them that not only am not required to wear a mask it makes it hard for me to breathe. They did not care. They told us that we were not welcome in the store without a mask. I also explained that I have a medical condition that makes me exempt fro wearing a mask. I am also a US Veteran and fought for my country. I have never been treated so rudely and will never shop here again. EVER! If you’re afraid of Covid that’s fine. Go get your shots and wear your masks. I am absolutely appalled at the treatment by this company. I advised everyone who isn’t cowering in their homes from this deadly virus with a 98% survival rate to never shop here either.

I can not say enough how unprofessional this company is! I did a curbside pick up order for my store location that is closest to me, and they tried to ship my order when the store had them in stock and I was going to do a curbside order. The lady then cancelled my order (not giving her the permission) before I was able to speak to a supervisor and asked if I could be credited to pick up in the store so I didn’t have to waste another $40. They never once apologized for what had happened and said all they could do was give me a gift card?! They won’t ever see my money again. Target and old navy have their stuff together better than Carter’s! They will never see my money again! Highly upset with how this company handled this situation.

I am so so so dissatisfied with your company. My friend bought over 300 dollars of items, and your system didn't confirm it as bought online. So he reintered the order thinking it had not gone through. They forgot to send the confirmation email to him, so now 2 of the same order was ordered and they would not return his money for the first order that they were at fault in not confirming the order so my poor friend had to pay 600$ for a 300$ order, as they will do nothing in the head office to help him. Shame, shame, shame on you Carter's /OSHKOSH

I have a family member that works at a Carters. They have a GM whom is over two stores. Your company has strong values. I believe it is very unprofessional for a GM to talk negative about her management team at Carters to her OshKosh store managers. What happen to Bias and unbias.?

I placed an order from this company on July 31 2020 and they ended up duplicating my order . I received one of the orders and have yet to be refunded for the other one. I have spoke to 4 different people and everytime I speak to someone they tell me 7-10 business days for my refund. It has been 53 days!!! I will never order another thing from this company. Be carefull! Customer service is horrible! Hoping pay pal can handle it now.

carters doesn’t seem to want to pay their employee’s. i haven’t even received my check which was due a week ago, they don’t seem to care because it isn’t their money and they aren’t the ones having to pay late fees on bills. it’s happened twice, i don’t understand how a company can get away with paying you 2 weeks later than the date you should receive your check. i tried calling corporate was on the phone about 20 minutes and no one could answer the phone. says enough about the company, great clothes, horrible management.

I am a previous employee of Carters/Oshkosh. I do not recommend working or applying here whatsoever. My experience working here was terrible, and it seems to be others on this review page can agree. I called corporate to let them know about my issues with this store as an employee, and the lady did not seem to care at all. She kept making excuses for the store.. This company does not seem to care about their employees whatsoever. At my specific store, the managers/assistant managers, were always their phone but we are told NOT to be on ours. They were always bossing us around to do stuff for them, while they do nothing. They will also put you on every single weekend and every holiday. I was not given the correct amount of breaks for my shifts. When you called in sick, I was told I am supposed to find my own person to cover my shift, WHILE I AM SICK? Overall this company is a disaster and I did not deserve all the stress and irritation for the little amount I got paid. I feel like I got taken advantage of through this company.

My credit card was stolen and a charge was made at Carter's that I disputed. I just made a purchase less than 6 months ago but NOW because I disputed a fraudulent charge, I can't shop with you? BAD business.

Placed an order a month ago over the phone. They overcharged me which i did catch it and reported them to my bank which they credited the difference after showing my bank the online receipt that posted to my account from phone order. That was the first red flag and I should've cancelled the order then a month ago. Called customer service number numerous times to be on hold for 2 hours straight and phone "automatically" hangs up. When i received my order yesterday I had several pieces missing with it and still was charged for those missing pieces when they shipped my order last week. I'm going to attempt 1 more time to get in contact with them and will report them to my bank for charging me for missing items I've never received so I can be refunded again the difference. I understand it's a pandemic right now but don't take advantage of customers just because we wasnt able to go into the stores. They could've called me and told me my items were out of stock and refunded the difference instead of charging me for the missing items. That's not right and very unprofessional on Carter's behalf. I'm definitely never ever going to order online from Carter's ever again.

I put in an order on December 2, 2019, today is December 13, 2019, no email about it being shipped yet. So I called my local store to see what was going on with it, it just shipped out today, which the lady was very rude to me. So I asked for their corporate number, and the lady put the phone down, and apparently proceeded to check people out that were at the store. So, as I sit on the phone saying hello over and over, I hung up, and called back. She proceeded to tell me that she put the phone down to get the number, but she also had to check out customers. This is ridiculous, then when giving me the number, all she gave me was the customer service line. I sat on hold for 3hrs before I decided to just hang up. What kind of store does this to their customers? I will never shop at carters again. It should not take 12 days to ship out an order that only contains 2 items.
