I went there to make banking accounts for the first time in Atlanta. An hour with an officer was unpleasant for me. I guess he tried to break the ice with joke! But, as a foreigner, it was unpleasant experience with him. Plz do not ask private questions in detail.. And plz speak acurately for customers by considering that the first foreign visitors are not familiar with finantial words or systems!

I moved to Atlanta from London in September 2021. Within days I went to Chase on Spring Street to open an account. They were really helpful and they continue to be. Shout out to Adonis (who I know has left the branch for bigger and better things with Chase) and to the Manager, Ruth and to Jalen who are always very friendly and very helpful.

I went to this office to just open a bank account. I was the only person and all the staff seemed to be doing nothing, yet they weren't able to open a simple bank account for me,

A couple of years ago, I became frustrated with my bank, Suntrust. I decided to try another bank. For a couple of years I put a small amount of money into an account at Chase Bank. In 2021, I decided to give them a shot with more of my money. I deposited two of my quarterly commission checks totaling $871,000. I put $71,000 in a checking account and $800,000 in a savings account. I consider that to be a lot of money. I know Chase handles billions, but 800k is a lot to me. They signed me up as a private client. It sounded great and I was told that I would get exceptional customer service. A week after I received my debit card, I went on a first date. When it was time to pay for the meal, I gave them my Chase Private Client debit card. The waiter came back to the table and told me it had been declined. Knowing I had over $70,000 in the account, I was furious! I was humiliated in front of someone I was just getting to know. It was awful. After 24 minutes on the phone I asked them to run the card again, and it went through. I was told that declining the card was a part of Chase's fraud protection program. I told them if the card was ever declined again that I was closing my account. They didn't seem to care. A week later, I was in Louisville, KY at Von Maur. I was buying an outfit to wear to the Kentucky Derby. I went to purchase a necktie for $89. Again, the card was declined. I had to call Chase again. They said once again, that it was fraud protection. I said, "let me get this straight. I am physically at a department store, I physically present the card at the register. I punch in my correct PIN. There are cameras all over the place. Why on Earth would it be a fraud issue, if I'm right there and have the correct pin. I was furious. A month later, I purchased a piece of art on line and had it shipped to my second residence in Kentucky. It was a $12,000 purchase that was made on line and shipped to an odd address. THAT transaction went through, no questions asked. That doesn't make sense to me. The final straw was when actual fraud happened on my card on two occasions. In one event, I was double charged for a car rental. In the other, I received a broken $3000 glass sculpture. When I filed the disputes, my account was immediately credited. Then 2 months later...my card was RECHARGED for the merchandise. After I had returned the broken sculpture! When I called, Chase told me that the dispute was closed and it was too late to do anything about it. Basically, I was just out $3000. Chase did NOTHING. The next day I paid $750 to retain a lawyer. The lawyer wrote ONE single page letter. The company credited me back the $3000. Chase did NOTHING TO help me. I finally closed all of my accounts. No one cared. They don't give a crap about any of their customers. They claim to be all about service. Their bank is a joke. I would keep all of my money stuffed under my mattress before I would ever give another dime to Chase Bank.

Went here a couple weeks ago to withdraw some cash. Apparently the atms weren’t working. When I asked if could withdraw some money, the manager (?) - blond lady - gave me a shrug and said the machines are down. I understand technical issues arise, but that is absolutely not the way to handle the situation from a customer service standpoint. The only reason for 95% of people to visit a bank in person is to withdraw cash. Not only were you unable to perform that job, but you give awful customer service as well?? Thankfully I won’t have to visit this branch again. If I did, I’d rather take my money elsewhere. Not like there aren’t hundreds of banking options.
