Had to go back to Comcast (ugh!!!) because Clear started to get congested and they had no plans to rectify the situation what good is internet service that doesn't work in the evening????? or weekend afternoons???? Totally Sucks!!!

The service was great! Until My business failed a PCI scan because of Clear. I first got on chat to report the problem and was met with a completely ridiculous person who obviously did not understand my problem. I was sent to the call line, where the person did understand why PCI failed. It was because of an open port in my router that Clear "needs" and will never close. I asked how they could possibly advertise for business, and she replied "we don't! Only for individuals. I now have to get internet and phone with another company because their equipment will never be safe for credit cards. Too bad.

They have really improved their internet reliability. I often test their speed and it has more than doubled. I have not had to call them for a reset. Sometimes I do get a disconnect but this is usually when there is a heavy rainstorm, because my connection with them is wireless, but it seems to restore itself fairly quickly. I'm glad I stayed with them.

Just horrible. My internet went down, I called in, was told '4 hours', called the next day (no internet) was told 2-12 hours (and 'my tower was 'down') the usual 'have you tried moving your modem, etc....(with s 2 foot cord there is not a lot you can do)... Day 3, no internet, told '2 days to 24 days' UNNACEPTABLE! I had been sent a letter a few months before about my tower 'going down'- I called to ask how that would affect me? "don't worry about it, you will be fine, blah blah blah). Um, MY tower was being taken down, poof. Utter crap customer service, sluggish downloads but... switched to my local cable company- paying about the same. Can't say enough bad things about this company and how I was treated.

Signed up with clear because I liked the fact that I didn't have to make payments for the modem. It work pretty decent considering what I was paying. Now they've raised the price and the Internet has become so much slower and randomly shuts down and stops working for no apparent reason. It's 1:30am and I want to watch netflix to fall asleep and I can't get the internet to work and I can't call them for help because they don't have 24 hour service.

i started out with Clear 2 years ago and was very pleased with the service - until mid 2013 when it all went horrible. They were bought out by Sprint and service immediately began to suffer - slow downloads, continuous stops to buffer. They advertise and swear thru Customer Service that they dont slow you down. NOT. Price has gone up - I am d.one. Much as I hate it, I will take my internet to Comcast - still keeping my ROKU box for TV.

Clear Service Customer Service SUCKS! I called to get a new service and I asked them to do a speed test first to make sure I have a good coverage. They told me they have to charge me first the first month and then we can see how is the signal strength. I stayed with them on the phone 90 minutes, the 30 minutes just to cancel the service. The connection was lost twice, nobody called back. I had a case number, nobody asked for the case number, they just wanted to respond their security questions, or other personal information.

I can hardly express how dissatisfied I've been with CLEAR. I live smack dab in the middle of Atlanta, on the 11th floor no less, and my internet speed is as if I'm on some fly-by-night 90's dial-up service. Honestly I'll be surprised if this post even goes through. Maybe things will improve with the Sprint union, but I'm not holding my breath. Giving it a month and then probably returning to Comcast ASAP.

I was a little upset today to find out that this company won't prorate my service in order to upgrade to 4g. So, now I have to wait until the 22nd to get the service I would like.

I read a lot of poor reviews right as I bought that $50 WIFI hotspot that everyone seems to be unaware is YOURS once you purchase it (they clearly tell you this as you are doing so in store). I came from Comcast where I was paying for a horribly overpriced Internet & cable plan which was getting worse by the month. No, Clear is not a substitute for cable tv, I don't think anything is, but with the fantastic (and ever growing) service provided by Clear, I'm able to be mobile with this little red box and have my home Internet available to me at the cost of $50 per month (where ever Clear service is available). I can access the Internet, stream movies/shows etc... (Which was my original plan), it fits the bill of someone who doesn't want to pay for cable yet still wants to be able to keep up with the news, shows, etc.

We were paying for 3 times the bandwidth than they were providing. Also, their customer service seems to be designed to be ineffective, it is really worthless. Eventually I ended up tweeting with a friend about the horrible service. (If you tweet about them they will let you out of your contract early. They cant handle it if people publicly speak their mind about their horrible internet service.) We were sure we wanted to leave when they told me that they, "weren't a substitution for cable tv," and, "the service was not meant for streaming video." When I signed up their agent told me to upgrade so we could watch netflix. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMSTERS!

The service was not too horrible, although other internet providers could do the same for less. Upon attempting to cancel my month to month payment, I find out that I have been registered up for a 2 year plan based on a discount I received when I signed up with Clear (which in turn, cost about the same to cancel my long term contract). I will never do business with Clear again.
