Horrible Internet service provider. Internet in Chandler AZ has now been down 20 hours for no reason. I've called them 15 times today. They will not let me speak to somebody in Tech Support which is very odd. They claim they have no service ticket to restore my service and therefore can not give me an ETA. The phone system purposes ensures you cannot contact their Tech Support - they lock you out from speaking to a real individual then their system hangs up on you in an angry voice. Wow. For $170/month I will not be hung up on. So I filed an FCC Complaint and a BBB Complaint today. Next will be the AZ Attorney General's office and Headquarters in Georgia. Tomorrow, I will likely go to Best Buy to purchase a Starlink and terminate Cox after 20 years of service. They are unable to provide Internet service in Chandler, AZ with 300K people. Crazy.
For others out there: StarLink and Google Fiber which is coming to Chandler AZ soon will be better alternatives. Cancel your Cox Internet as soon as you can because they do not care.

I performed for this company at this location and I must say everyone was fantastic! The staff were so accommodating and the employees were gracious during my show. I cannot thank everyone enough for allowing me to entertain them.

I had the worst experience with a Cox “Account Manager” who refused to help me remove a “you have outdated equipment” alert from my account. She sad there was nothing that could be done. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she became very snotty and said “I don’t have a supervisor, it’s just me here”.
How ridiculous.
I called the help line back and the next person I talked to said they could take care of that, and did right away.
I’ve had this experience before with Cox. One hand does not know what the other hand is doing or knows.
Unfortunately all these experiences add up and it’s exhausting to be told one thing when another is true. Cox, your field technicians are wonderful, however, your customer service skills have a long way to go.

Received emails stating a refund was available following a court settlement. In order to accept the refund, it requires me to sign into a Cox account I no longer have and have not had since 2021 or 2022. When attempting to get help online via live chat, I was told I could only get it by providing my account information and PIN. If I haven’t had an account with Cox for 2-3 years, how would I ever be able to provide that information. The agent kept saying to look at my bill which just shows that people monitoring and working the live chat have a script of answers for wherever these call centers are located across the world and cannot actually interact with people if it’s outside the scope of normal. Cox needs to provide a means in which former customers can accept the refunds without means of logging into accounts they no longer have.

If you move to Ocala stay away from COX and The Grove Apartments! They made arrangement for residents to be charged within the Monthly rent fee, for Wi-Fi then when your leasing agreement ends, you may be ending paying for an equipment that wasn't returned and which was not the tenant's responsibility but the Landlord's. Those 2 damaged my Credit due to lack of care about Customers, lack of respect and integrity, the story is long but I made it short. It has been the most horrible experience by living in Ocala. Ocala is a great place to live, just please do not agree with anything they tell you.

Cox customer here from California. No where to complain online so I am here. Disgusting service. I chatted with 2 reps telling them I needed to downgrade my internet service. And they just went ghosting and stopped chatting right there. maybe they realized that they could not make a commission from downgrading. And by the way, they charge high prices and keep raising internet prices. it's a greedy cooperation that sucks big time. Stay away from them as long as you can! I will post more negative reviews on yelp and other places.. you are welcome!

Literally the worst, most unreliable, spotty, interrupted, disconnecting, slow-rebooting POS of so-called “high-speed” internet service I’ve ever had in my life. And by far the most expensive. (And I used to have Comcast…)
If there was literally any other option in my neighborhood, I would choose them over you.

This company hires dumb customer service teams. No one is trained to know what the heck is happening.
I talked to Swetha and Noble. Both were clueless and disrespectful. Neither was meeting a minimum bar of an agent.

An outage every week. If you want to do something basic like manage your ports, you have to REQUEST the ability to in their app. That request took over 4 months - MONTHS - for me to get a step forward in the process after emailing/calling every single week. If there was any other option in the area, I'd utilize them immediately. No matter where I've lived, cox comm has been a massive failure in basic infrastructure and service. A joke of a company that makes it a side goal to aggravate their customers.

Avoid using this mobile service. They lock you into required automatic payments and hold your device captive for 60 days after you leave their service even if you brought your own fully paid device.

We live in a smaller city. Cox was the only cable provider. Prices kept going higher so we cut out cable and just kept internet. We were paying for 500 MB/sec download and getting ~260 MB/sec. A new fiber provider has come into the area and magically Cox send me an email saying we could change our service and cut the fee in half. It required switching to the 250MB/sec download speed. Since that's all we were getting anyway, I thought it would be smart to only pay for what we were getting. I changed to the 250 MB/sec download plan. I got off the phone with customer service and 5 minutes later our internet service dropped offline for about a minute then came back on. That was the company changing our plan. I have run the speed test a dozen times since then on different days at different times of the day. Our maximum download speed is now 170 MB/sec. When I called the technical help line they said that Cox doesn't throttle internet service and that the problem must be with my personal modem. You mean the same modem that was giving me 260 MB/sec two days ago with your service? Cox throttles the internet service. Maybe if I pay for a big plan that I don't need I won't get throttled service.
