Highland Avenue CVS Atlanta did something i didn't think possible. Buy on line, pick up in store and picked the wrong items. How is that even possible if you're matching sku#'s.
Poor execution to say the least!!!

Very nice and helpful employees.

Generally we only pick up prescriptions here. There is usually a level of chaos going on in that department. I'm not assigning blame, that department is always busy. So pack patience when you go.

This is the best pharmacy in Atlanta. They always have my meds on time, pick up is easy, and they’re readily available if I need to call. What more could you ask for in a pharmacy.

If I could give this experience 0 stars, I would. This store needs to be evaluated by upper management, specifically in the area of customer service, and employee relationships.
One of the pharmacy tech’s has the most unprofessional, unwelcoming, attitudes I’ve ever encountered. She was not only rude and abrasive to customers, but she was also rude to her fellow teammate.
To make a long story short, she rudely interrupted her teammate who was helping me, pretty much taking over the transaction, making what could have been a pleasant experience, an awful one, And when I returned to pickup my prescription, once again, I encountered her abrasive tone and attitude. She even told me I had to pay for my OTC medication at the front of the store, during my checkout to pay for my prescription. Because of this, I had to complete two separate transactions, instead of one. I will never use this pharmacy again.

Poor customer service. Tried to call to transfer a series of prescriptions from Walgreens. Crazy phone tree, no option to speak to the pharmacy. Best they can do is tell you to call back or call you back in an hour. I guess I’ll keep going to Walgreens for the 10 prescriptions.

The staff at this CVS are always great! Super friendly, helpful, and attentive. Some I see more frequently than others and they remember me and we always have pleasant chats.
Regarding prices, you may find the same item elsewhere for less, but in general, the prices are good.
The store is very clean, and easy parking is a plus!

I enjoyed this CVS pharmacy for years, but have had atrocious experiences lately. Leaving a voicemail to the pharmacy wouldn't be so bad if they ever called you back. The CVS app isn't much more help.
One female pharmacist is beyond rude. She needlessly hostile, argumentative, and condescending. I am just politely asking a yes or no question and I get her ranting instead.
Her attitude is vile but the real issue is her lying to my face multiple times. I could understand sometimes estimates can't be fulfilled or deliveries don't come in. This is different. She said a prescription that was sent from the doctor's office would be ready before they close.
When I show up 4 hours later, she said there was no prescription they could even start to fill. She lied to me, and denied what she told me 4 hours earlier. Her attitude smells of incompetence and "come back in when someone else is working". This isn't being wrong about an estimate. This is lying with malice. I'll likely just go to a farther CVS, which have great customer service.

Will and Selwyn are outstanding at the checkout and know how to treat customers with care. They are courteous and helpful. Tomas is great too and always happy. In the Pharmacy Jett and Dhval are superb with their knowledge and professionalism. Great staff and always consistant. Thanks, Marsha
Kashonda Romain and Kathryn Conley were great in the Minute Clinic, caring , helpful, patient and attentive. Great ladies that knew their stuff. Also, Daniel and April were in the store and they were outstanding as well, with the customers and dealing with an aggressive homeless man. Thanks, Marsha Raeber

Joshua and Nasir went above and beyond assisting me today! I would love to give a public recognition to them. I have never experience this great of customer service ever! The printer at the self checkout was jammed and Joshua reprinted my receipt for me. He noticed my reprinted copy did not print the coupons and went out of his way to make sure I received them. I had so much going on I didn't even realize the coupons were missing. As well as helping with a price adjustment because the item I purchased rang up full price but the tag was marked down. Thank you so much Joshua for the detailed work and kindness. Nasir helped me look for my photos. He thoroughly searched 2-3 times for my photos in the bucket and in the system with such patiences. He honestly did not have to do that. Even though my photos were no where to be found it's the fact that he took the time out to really search for them. Thank you Nasir for taking great care of your customers.
This review has nothing to do with the pharmacy side.
Thank you for my great experience and the abundance of kindness I received from Joshua and Nasir.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced at a pharmacy .. the worst attitude you could possibly deal with. Super slow! Go somewhere else! The lady with the braids and the glasses find a new job that you actually enjoy doing! They’ll be better without you. 9.10.23 at 7:00 pm

When I first started using CVS in Virginia Highland pharmacy 15 years ago in my neighborhood, I saw the same faces each time I went and was welcomed by name as I approached. That all changed in 2020. Since, communication became non-existent and at times I was made to feel like a burden - I know they have had a lot of turnover, but that is not the patients’ fault.
However, after this past week, I received multiple calls from the new Pharmacy Manager, Sarah. When I spoke to her about my frustration involving the lack of communication, she emphasized with me - I felt like a patient and not just a number. My medication was on back order, and she contacted my doctor to try to find an alternative. She sent texts to let me know where they were in the process. Today she called as soon as my prescription was available. Sarah is working hard on trying to rebuild their reputation, ensure proper staffing and improve communication. Rome wasn’t built in day, so I know these things take time. Thank you, Sarah for all that you do and showing me that you care. It meant the world knowing that my needs and concerns didn’t fall on deaf ears.
