Hectic organization and lack of leadership.
I gave them a prescription on paper given by the healthcare provider. It is the only piece of information pertaining to the prescription.
After an hour of preparation, the pharmacist confessed that they’ve lost the piece of paper with the prescription.
I’ve no other piece of paper that provides the prescription medication.
Please be aware of this specific location, make sure you retain your prescription information on your phone, so to avoid any inconvenience and hassle for you.

This has been my pharmacy for years and the employees are always great. Unfortunately for this CVS, they have partnered with Target. Target has recently sent a very clear message to the minority communities that have helped the company build itself to the juggernaut that it is. Since Target is divesting in minorities, I am divesting in Target. As a result I am switching pharmacies to spend my money with companies that are more aligned with my values and not exploiting minority communities.

The wait is always 10+ minutes no matter how many people are in line

Be prepared to wait an hour to get your meds because they refuse to hire the appropriate amount of help to save money

I WISH I COULD GIVE NO STARS. This is the worst CVS I have ever been to. I have had MULTIPLE horrible experiences and literally never want to come here again. Save your time and money and go anywhere BUT here.

The terrible customer experience and broken phone system make CVS a place to avoid, but now, you have no choice but to go there in person to get anything done.
The app and IVR phone system have ongoing issues, forcing me to call in to refill certain prescriptions. While I could previously tolerate the inconvenience despite wasting about 10 minutes each month, the new phone system adds unnecessary steps, provides the same incorrect information as the app, and ultimately ends with leaving a voicemail. Reaching a live person is impossible; the system only allows for voicemail.I can’t imagine how elderly or technology-challenged customers manage to navigate this system.
I have left multiple voicemail messages after wasting significant time navigating through countless prompts, yet I have never received a callback. As a result, my only option is to drive to the store, wait in line to speak with a pharmacist, and then be told to return in an hour to pick up the prescription. This process requires a second trip to the store, another wait in line, and yet another inefficient in-person interaction with personnel.
Staff interactions at this location are generally average (neither good nor bad), which is why it earned two stars instead of one. In contrast, the CVS on Peachtree Road across from Piedmont Hospital shares the same process failures and phone system issues, but the pharmacy staff there are grossly apathetic and outright rude over 80% of the time.
Healthcare is supposed to be humane, compassionate, and enhanced by technology. CVS, however, has implemented archaic technology to reduce human interaction and burden the very customers who depend on it for medications.
It’s clear that CVS prioritizes cost-cutting and profits over quality service and customer satisfaction. Last year (2023), CVS's profits reached $8.344 billion, nearly doubling the previous year's profits with a 94% increase.
Net, net: it’s much better to be a CVS shareholder than a CVS customer.

Came in for a vaccination with appointment, but still had to wait over 20 minutes. Staff was friendly however.

I just had the WORST experience with the manager David. He was extremely nasty and rude. My prescription has been sitting for 2 weeks with no progress. I’ve called 3 days in a row and never got a response until today. When I asked David why was he treating me so poorly his response was that “I’m tired. I’m 2 hours behind and my boss keeps texting me asking me to do things.” As a director of operations for a luxury hotel who works 14-16 hour days, I have NEVER treated any of my guests the way I was treated. The fact that he was a manager makes it even worse. I will be reaching out to corporate as well to see if they can pull the call and I will be transferring to another pharmacy.

I was at that location to pick up some money from moneygram, the customer service was ridiculous, the front desk guy screamed the money that I was supposed to pick up infront of every body and expose my business. After calling is supervisor to advise for the amount of money, they told me their money order machine wasn't working and they couldn't help. I did go to 2 other CVS for the same thing and it was the same. Don't never go to CVS for a moneygram transaction. They are not knowledgeable about it, bad customer service on that end, I really think they should stick to the medicine and medical suplies.

You cannot call and get someone on the phone at this location…..so if you have an immediate issue or are not feeling well and need specific details about your prescription good luck! It’s ridiculous to have to leave a voicemail and have somebody call you back when you’re not feeling well and need help. I had a very simple inquiry that someone could have picked up the phone and answered….customer service is truly a lost art.

This is the best CVS ever I recently moved from the Gwinnett area to the Westside of Atlanta and this is the closest CVS near my house and it’s like fresh air the head pharmacist is really nice and doesn’t make me feel like a drug addict/drug seeker when I pick up my medication which is a controlled substance the lady that works on the weekend is awesome as well and very understanding great bedside manner the CVS in Lawrenceville (202 Grayson highway) was horrible they always made me feel like a drug seeker when picking up my medication on time and taking it as prescribed no one should be made to feel that way so I really appreciate all of staff at this CVS in target

Decent "collection". The pharmacist talks too fast to understand anything but is helpful regardless.

David is one of the best pharmacists I’ve ever had. He always goes out of his way to help me and get my prescription at the lowest cost. Great bed side manner as well. 11/10
