This store claims to offer delivery, but the delivery time for a first dose antibiotic was 23 hours after the Rx was written. Another CVS was able to deliver all my OTC meds within 3 hours. (This store was out off stock). Service at the CVS 1544 Piedmont in Atlanta negatively effects treatment. No pharmacist would recommend delaying the first dose of an antibiotic for 23 hours. So I dragged my contagious and dizzy self in there to pick it up.

Once upon a time, this pharmacy was a beacon of convenience and customer service. I would willingly pass five CVS stores on my way here, such was the appeal. Regrettably, succumbing to the common CVS malaise, this pharmacy has now transformed into a place characterized by overworked staff and subpar service. The pharmacists in charge seem to be barely scraping by, delivering the absolute minimum required. The lack of a simple greeting or thank you is a glaring indicator of their disinterest. It's not asking much for some semblance of courtesy. Procuring my prescriptions has become an uphill battle. Prescriptions put on hold for future dates necessitate multiple tedious phone calls to remind them to fill it. Miscommunications on script changes lead to unnecessary delays. It's disappointing to have to explain the details to professionals who should know better. When an expensive drug was to be filled, I expected the pharmacist to run it with a discount card. Instead, he ran it without the discount and asked me to check the phone app later for the total. Predictably, the total was never updated. These frustrations are not with the technicians, who despite being overworked, retain their courteous demeanor. To the pharmacists who choose to work in this environment, I implore you to consider a hospital pharmacy. A more relaxed setting, better pay, and improved benefits could be yours. And to the consumers out there, might I suggest Kroger, Walmart, or even a well-situated Walgreens? Their services are superior, and their prices are more competitive. CVS's business model relies heavily on volume sales, so taking your business elsewhere might be the wake-up call they need. CVS, please fix your phone systems. The endless prompts and messages are a source of continuous frustration for customers. You need to staff your pharmacy more efficiently. But for me, it's too late. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. You probably don't care about this rant, but I felt it necessary to voice my grievances nonetheless. Monica, you are sorely missed. To the technicians, I commend your resilience. Keep pushing on. The pharmacist mentioned or referenced here is a white gentleman and a couple black ladies, clearly over worked with major lackluster attitudes. It's like someone hurt them along the way and they are taking it out on the retail population.

If you advertise your pharmacy is open til 7 pm, you don't close at 6:57 as a customer is walking in and say come back tomorrow.

Never been treated as poorly by a pharmacy. Clerk continually lied to my face to get out of helping me. I will never go back here as these people do not care about you and will do whatever they can to avoid helping you.

The pharmacist Monica is so rude! Looked miserable being there. Has no customer service skills what so ever. Not sure why the company bothers having her there when she’s no help at all. Seemed like the customers infront of me felt the same way. However, the front end staff members are helpful but Monica definitely ruined my experience there.

Great service keep it up!

The inventory at this location is extremely scarce, that its almost appalling. It looks like a tornado hit this store. The only reason I visit this location is to pick up my prescription- all other transactions are performed at Publix or Kroger, considering their inventory is all-inclusive.

After decades of going to CVS regularly, I’m done. They cut back on pharmacy hours and dropped my insurance, and when the pharmacy check-out process refused to recognize discounts on non - prescription items, the pharmacy person said there was nothing she could do from the pharmacy register even though I could show her the discounts on the CVS app. So I had to go up front, where the good people who used to check people out have been replaced with annoying machines that never quite work right so you have to find a human anyway. Going to CVS used to be a nice shopping experience. Now it’s awful. Mail-order pharmacy, here I come.

The employees at this location show up for work at their leisure! CVS is misleading the public by saying the pharmacy opens at 10am. I arrived at 10:02 and, as many times before, they didn't open at 10am. I decided to not wait and run a quick errand in the same shopping center. I arrived back to CVS at 10:13 to, once again, find that they had still not opened. I this needs to stop! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have been a loyal customer of CVS for approx 25 years, in Charleston for 23 and this branch for 2.I was really saddened by the treatment I received from the on duty pharmacist this evening about 30 minutes ago. While the screen was closed for the pharmacy, I saw the pharmacist had not left yet and asked, “excuse me. I just had my knee replaced and my physical therapist today said to come by here and get some vitamin E oil to massage the incision area. Do you know what Aisle it’s on?” (I had not seen another worker from the front door to the back.).Her response in a very blunt manner: “I would not know where that is and in any event I’m off the clock. You’ll have to find someone at the front.” (There was no one at the front.)Maybe I’m overreacting this day and age. Maybe she was having a bad day and needed to take it out on a customer. Either way, I’m compelled now to take 20+ years of service to a new company at least as far as the pharmacy is concerned.The one star is solely for the pharmacy. The one saving grace was the store manager - Kevin - who was very kind and apologized, pulled out his phone and tried to look up the oil my PT requested, and offered to order it online when he realized they were out of stock. I appreciate him and would give 5Stars to him if stars could be divided.Store is generally okay and I’m sure it will get much better as i understand Kevin only just started there, but the the pharmacist (not even necessarily the whole pharmacy) was beyond disappointing, and I’m so disappointed to have to write this.

Pharmacy staff here is always nice and willing to help. These employees work so very hard.The front store is not bad either.But there is a change in pharmacy hours that begins on 19March 2023. Thankfully the staff has proactively posted the new hours 3 whole weeks before the change!

Have been trying to get a medication for a while now. Said it was ready for pick up and then it wasn't and now they screwed by giving 30 days instead of 90. Turns out because of this, I will have to wait and come back due to the way insurance billing works. The annoying part was the communication and they way they handled it
