10am on Monday and still not open when 8am is advertised? Watched 5 employees walk in at 9:40am and they said give us 5 minutes. Waited 20 minutes and door is still locked.

Came at 8:04 am knocked on door and everything they said they not open ? But the hours dat they open at 8 am so which one is it ?

I had the worst experience ever while getting a refund for two items that I bought 20 mins ago. I waited in the checkout line for a refund but the cashier made me wait as her store manager wasn't there. Ten minutes later the store manager RICO comes and says, you'll have to wait till I clear the check out line. At that moment I was in the store for about 10 mins and the cashier already checked out 5 people who were behind me.
Rico took the cashier's place and started checking out people from the line and I was patiently standing while she checked out another 15 people. There was one more person waiting to get a refund but he chose to leave rather than waiting.
The sad part was I waited in line for nothing as it was not even a minute work for which I waited at least 20 mins.
This is the most pathetic experience ever. I'll never bother to come here again. If I could rate below 1 start I would and give a rating in negative.

First and foremost I have encountered great customer service from employees at this location in Buford highway. But whoever is in charge of inventory I’m not doing they job at all. Or at least if your really about your money this location could be making more than it’s making and are losing. I’ve come to buy Allergy medication and deodorant on numerous occasions and they have been out of stock which is usual. Being that it has been not once or twice but at least 4-6 times. Georgia is a Pollen state Allergy Pills are a big Sale! Why not be stocked! We need Zyrtec! I believe someone from the Corporate offices should come in and check the stores maybe help out in some areas that need some corrections. To help steer employees in the right direction in which they may need any extra training or extra guidance on how to go about retail stocking and for higher up managers on ordering items and keeping store up to date and well stocked.

The store manager Keithran did not update his inventory as a store manager should to reflect what’s on the store via website. I looked on the website before coming in to ensure this location had the item I wanted. Per dollar general’s app it stated 3 were in stock. Upon my arrival I asked Keithran where the item I wanted is located, he said “we don’t have anymore”. I showed him my app where it clearly says there’s 3 in this location. He said, “that must be inaccurate.” As a manager I expect better. However the associate who tried to help me was very nice!

This store is not managed well. I’ve given it a try here and there over the past few months and never found anything even close to worthwhile. I asked a girl working for some help and she told me that what was there was what they carried. I told her that the inventory could be changed or updated. She immediately got offended so then I come here to see many people have had similar experiences with the store. If you know something is not desired, why try to sell it? Maybe they should mirror another Dollar General. But I won’t be returning to find out and I’m sure they don’t care.

It’s 7:25 on the dot p.m and the girl is closing the store with the help of security apparently.. lazy.. inconsiderate given that I drove all the here intentionally just to visit this store.. hire people that want to work please…

Store was disgusting. Dirty. Unorganized. Was out of nearly everything. Boxes, ladders, trash, etc in every aisle. stinks. Floors looks black from dirt. Others had bags and were left alone and I was shopping just fine. There are no signs or store policies that allow discrimination, yet they came to me and said I "have" to leave my bag at the front. I left because I'm not leaving my bags and especially not with people who look like they steal. Don't go here. I added a pic but I left instead of taking more because I probably would've needed a tetanus shot if I stayed in that nasty store any longer Having a purse/bag is not a crime and doesn't warrant being "watched more closely".

It's an understaffed dollar general - idk why people have such high expectations when going hereThe cashier lady was very sweet and polite while ringing me up. The cc machine was acting up and she had to reboot it for me, and everyone in line was patient and kind about it. I noticed she would greet everyone who came in, and customers would kindly greet her back.Perhaps if we all made the smallest effort to be kinder and more understanding with each other, we wouldn't be trying to find a reason to be upset all the time.

The dollar store next door was closed so I decided to come here since they are right next door to each other. I was trying to buy hangers but unfortunately one of the employees mentioned they didn't have any hangers and even when they do get them in stock they don't last very long on the shelves. I decided to browse the aisles which were chaotically organized with items all over the floor. It was possibly because they were reoganizing the shelves anyways but it was a little bit of a hazard espcially if you may have a stroller with you. Overall, I had an okay experience. Staff were very nice but the organization makes it difficult for me to consider coming back.

If I could give one star I would . It’s 20 ppl in line and only one register open! Literally watching ppl leave the store bc the line is so long! And yes other employees are here! Never coming back ! Get it together
