Do Not shop here if you are black and wear crisp new shoes! I was in line to purchase 2 pairs of shoes and supervisor said spouse could NOT leave store. He said “why” she said because he had “there” shoes on! Mind you he walked in with the sneakers on. He said the sneakers on his feet were his! Asked to speak to supervisor and she was the supervisor. We shop there ALL the time I am a DSW VIP! The “supervisor Never apologized or even recognized her mistake! Mind you the cashier said something to the affect “ here she goes again”! Don’t shop while black in new shoes! UNBELIEVABLE!
Update!!! So I contacted customer service same day left a review same day and emailed corporate same day! Actually within 30 minutes of leaving store after incident. I did get immediate response that what happen was unacceptable and for me to leave my number and best call back time to discuss the situation. Which I did. No call on schedule date and time! I waited but nothing for days! So I emailed corporate AGAIN still Nothing! This company does not care or follow through on customer complaints! They did send a $10 coupon and I think points on my VIP account! Have not returned to store bcuz I am sure nothing changed! So remember shopping while black in crisp shoes makes you a thief! Dam shame the company DID NOT Respond!

Tonight was my first time visiting the Camp Creek Store. And I had no idea that the Manager (06/26/2024) owned this store personally because I know for a FACT that she went around DSW policy because she discriminated against me.

The young lady who waited on me had great customer service skills. I'm rating this a 3 because after picking an online purchase and making additional store purchases, I was told I had to pay for a bag! I'm so sick of retailers finding ways to make the consumer pay more money! The nerve! I know it doesn't matter to the corporate giants, but they've lost a customer. I don't feel like a valued customer when you're charging me for a bag. It's the principle of the whole thing.

Jayla has a excellent customer service when I was there she help me a lot and has been nice with me and been so patient even if I ask a lot of questions I hope to come back soon to buy more stuff thank you
