Dear Style Corporate Office,
I am writing to formally report an incident that occurred at your [insert exact store location or address] on [April 16, 2025 @ 7:56 pm.], which I believe involved unfair and potentially discriminatory treatment.
I arrived at the store during regular business hours with the intention to shop. However, I was stopped at the entrance and told they were closed. There was no clear explanation given to me at the time, and there were no signs indicating that the store was at capacity or closed to the public.
What made this situation particularly upsetting is that immediately after I was turned away, a man approached the same entrance and was allowed in without hesitation. I observed this directly, and it left me feeling confused, disrespected, and concerned that I was being treated differently for reasons that were not explained.
I spoke with an employee named Richard, who informed me that the manager had instructed staff on who could and could not enter the store. However, when I asked to speak with the manager directly for clarity, I was told the manager was not currently on site.
This situation has left me feeling singled out and mistreated, and I am seeking a formal explanation from corporate as to why I was denied entry during business hours while others were allowed in without issue. I am also requesting that this incident be thoroughly reviewed and that appropriate steps be taken to ensure that all customers are treated fairly, respectfully, and in accordance with your company’s values and policies.
I have supported DTRL for some time, and I hope this incident does not reflect the standards your brand upholds. I would appreciate a prompt and professional response addressing this matter.

Workers are terrible especially on release day. They will let you get skipped even if you waited the appropriate time for the shoes. Then they let people they know come and get their shoes. Please fire these workers and hire honest people. They hire gate keepers and people who except bribes . It’s lame for people who be honest .

These folks really gave me some unlaced shoes . Then the blue koolaid head lady gone try to tell me they come like that if they don’t that means they fake . 1st off I wasn’t talking to u . I ain’t snap how I wanted to because of my kid next to me . But I make more money than these folks to be buying anything fake . Fix ya attitude and stay out my conversation with the rudeness . Cuz if u wanted to go the other way just say that I could a drop my kid off . I buy shoes once a month for 12 months threw out the year inside DTlLr , footlocker ,ETC. I went straight to the mall and exchanged for laced shoes . Stop playing with me period . Than when I couldn’t reach the shoes I had to climbed on the shoe rack while the man and women walking behind me not one time ask if I needed help .

this is like the 2nd time they sold my raffled shoes before 3 o’clock , and honest i’m pissed i had to drive way to stone mountain. so this time i will be calling and speaking with a District Manager, i’m a manager at City Gear & even we know you are not supposed to sell shoes until the Raffle Time ENDS ?‼️

Close at 8pm got the tonite at 7pm door locked. Hate to say only in the hood! I can see 30 minutes prior but an hour?!!! Come on now! 1/16/23 guess she said it’s cold she ready to go an hour early smh

Staff was very pleasant and helpful from the time I walked in and while looking for merchandise. I was greeted upon entering the store by the pleasant employees. Nigel was very helpful in helping me locate a size for my son. He even went above and beyond to take a second look for the size because the system said it was in stock. He found it and I left the store a happy shopper. I will return in the future.

Nigel has the best customer service and definitely looked out for me and my daughter at the last minute. Work ethics throw the roof. I'm definitely shopping at this location again.
