This location never have what you need. The store is messy, crowded, and understocked. The manager does a great job when he's in the store, but when he's not around you'll get rudeness, attitude and they move very slow.

The line was long the store was a mess and there was one cashier. A worker was sitting down eating and talking on the phone. Several customers were asking if there was another cashier. My mother went to ask the lady sitting if there was another cashier coming. The lady Keisha started yelling at my mother saying that some other manager was responsible and that she doesn’t get paid enough nor does the one cashier actually working.

They're listed as open online, but they're closed in real time. This is not the first time. There has also been issues with the store closing early.

The employees are usually friendly but whoever was the cashier today at 5:40pm was rude, hostile and aggressive. She slammed my change on the counter and threw my bag on the counter. I didn't even interact with this woman outside a normal transaction. I guess she had drawn a conclusion about me from my appearance. I think she has issues she needs to deal with but it's not appropriate for retail.

One of the components of Community is having establishments that cater to the community's specific needs. This Family Dollar does that well. The hospitality is always warm and welcoming. The staff is pretty consistent and it's nice to see the same faces visit after visit. A sign that the employees are being treated fairly. In the past 3 years that I have visited this store regularly, I've never seen the store unkept dirty or overly disorganized. On today's visit an employer went the extra mile and assisted me to the car with my load of items as I'm carrying life and am pretty huge, my mobility has become limited. The employee didn't hesitate when I asked for assistance with my items. Many of the Family Dollar merchant's in urban neighborhoods are highly flawed and discriminative towards their local customers. Not at this Family Dollar!

This place is horrible and under poor management. I will never go here again and I'm in family dollar about 4 times a week. They had an item in the wrong place of course. So the cashier calls the Mgr Darien and he walks up and doesn't speak then goes to the shelf which is right in front of the checkout where I'm standing. He begins scanning the items for about 2 min. Now the entire case is in the wrong spot which you can't tell just by looking at it, and he says it's in the wrong spot. So I reply I understand that but thats not my fault. Keep in mind it is an energy drink and I have another 30 dollars worth of merchandise. So he says I can't do it for that price, which is a dollar. I told him I'm sure that is not your policy and I'm going to let corporate know about the customer service and he tells me he will give me the number. Really? You're willing to lose a customer over $1.85. Where do you all train these people at? He could have apologized for the error or anything but of course none of that occurred.
