I walked into the bank at 2:50 EST on 7/1/24. I asked about opening a business checking account. The woman behind the counter seemed upset that I was disturbing her casual discussion with a friend at the counter. As he stepped aside, she asked me a couple of questions in a very condescending tone. She stated that the banker was not in the branch and do I have a card. I asked her to allow me to check my schedule. I informed her that I had planned to take my company public and already set up the legal documents to open the account. She handed me a card and again with a very nasty condescending tone and stated to call and set up an appointment. I handed her the card back as my interest was no longer there. I wish I could bring my friends to work and have casual conversations and push customers away. Great job.

Came by to open a savings account/Cd. This is one of the only banks that I amAware of you need to physically come in in 2023. Most others have it online. It takes a long time!! Almost an hour before it's done. They need to upgrade their tech. But the branch Itself is good.

Do not let their new advertising campaign fool you...they do INDEED have hidden fees. I was hit with one this month.

Fifth third bank doesn't support disabled veteran at all. They want to make sure veterans are homeless and part of the 22 a day. They will not listen to veterans who fought for their country. Stay away from them brothers in arms. They destroy lives and get a thrill out of it. You can put your life on the line and they laugh inside. No hearts just strictly money hunger and disconnected to the struggles of Combat disabled veteran. I see why so many veterans are homeless

I would start off by saying don't go to this location for 1 but after my experience as a whole, I would take it a step further by saying do not do business with this bank AT ALL. I started out with both a personal and Business account with fifth third. Due to it being right across the street from my condo I had hopes that this would be very convenient for me. But all the events that have transpired since opening an account with this Bank has led me to download the yelp app just to leave a review. Absolutely nothing good has come out of banking with fifth third bank. From my information being input incorrectly in the system (birthday, email) to me being locked out of my account and unable to use my card. I've never encountered so many issues with a bank before. It has been very inconvenient having a business account with fifth third and non-beneficial. Ive already closed my personal account and plan on closing my business account. And to think I was going to close my Bank of America account and move all of my funds to fifth third, I am glad I didn't. The bank is always empty for a reason...

Staff seemed really uninformed about basic business needs and unprofessional. Might be fine for personal accounts but I’d stay far away if you have a business more than six figures in revenue.

I came in at 4:40pm to open an account and move $20,000 over but the attendant (Jasmine) turned me away. I guess she just wanted to go home for the day. I had fought traffic at rush hour to get to her and explained how I even got off work early just to see her. She didn't care, she turned me away. She sent me to another branch a further away in traffic .

She sent me to another branch a further away in rush hour traffic . At the next branch I arrived only to find that the bank rep in charge of opening accounts had gone home for the day! By then I had been in traffic for an hour, I was exhausted & to the point of tears. The reps were shocked that Jasmine didn't call them to make sure I could be serviced. I was dumbfounded and sent to yet another branch where I would then have driven 1.5 hrs to open an account.

Do not go to this location. Go to the Fifth and Third on Piedmont Road. A employee signed me up for a credit card without my knowledge just to get a bonus and I didn't know until I got the notification from credit karma stating a hard inquiry appeared on my report . When I went back the employee Rose acted surprised and said she thought I wanted the card , apologized and lied stating it couldn't be removed. DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION.

Two of the 3 representatives I've meet since opening my account here, have been simply stellar. The third, I believe her name is Nicki. Let's just say she's a bit under stellar.
